jonah6989
i know my current favorite police standoff points are at the superstar cafe behind the bar and on top of any crane....does anyone know of some good areas with lots of cover and enough room to rpg? poxjedi
what counts as a 'good' spot really? I'm personally fond of the airport, you can get clear shots with the RPG or sniper from across the runway as cop cars come skidding down. You could steal and set up a bunch of those crappy luggage-towing trucks and use them as cover.

I recommend having a intensed shootout with the cops at the Museum in Algonquin. It is an excellent place IMO.
BlueTengu
I think the spot is near Hove Beach, but it's the end point of one of the jumps. You end up at a half-pipe skate park. At the end of the park there's an elevated wall with an overhang. It's a great place for sniping, RPGs, MGs, Molotovs, and whatever else you can think of. Sorry an, but I don't have the tools to post any pics of it. But, you can do this. Liberty City Map -Click the box, "Points of Interest" -Click "Building With Interior" The Mueseum is in Middle Park in Algonquin. Zoom in on that map to see it. The Invisible Lines
Lately I've been having standoffs from the island in the big lake in Middle Park. I get a high wanted level, swim out to the lake, and just go to town. The police never reach the island so you can take out helis with the RPG and you can dust off the cops with the sniper rifle (or the M4, or any other long-distance weapon of choice) as they gather along the walkway on the other side of the water. Once in a while one will find their way to the island, but that's only if a heli crashes in the water and they live and swim over. I did this for a whole in-game day/night cycle before getting bored. It's also a good way to get your crime stats up.

The hospital in shotler, its a great place, get a wanted level by killing peds then lure them down the long hallway, and go to town on the cops. poxjedi
The hospital Headshot a few patients (they are injured and unable to run) then take cover and have some fun with the cops. When there gets to be too many, you can fall back further into the lobby for the final stand. The patients are really hilarious, they'll run straight for the doors in the middle of a firefight and get caught in the crossfire. After they get hit once they drop, and play dead. It's enough to make you lol when a scrub nurse lies on the ground for 10 minutes while a gunfight rages above her, only to stand up when the carnage has finally ended and get shot in the face. moonracer1313
I really enjoy the booth tunnel. Place two cars or a truck in the road to block traffic, then once the cars have maxed and bunched up in there toss a couple grenades for an amazing visual experience to start off a good rampage. Another good spot is on a subway platform. The architecture is interesting and it can be tough some times to keep the fuzz at a distance. There are a ton of good alley ways to hold up in as well. Easy to find on the map.

Which one? Northeast algonquin, a bit hard to find the entrance though. And if you go at night you can find an annihilator. And the standoff place is at the roof, because they never flank you and the cops on the bottom are sitting ducks.
