So i was playing a free roam game and saw that everyone was acting like they were in real life. i was thinking "gay." I saw a player stopped at a red light and sniped him through the windshield of his car. He started cussing me out and left and then i got vote kicked.

Bleh, I agree with the topic poster. Free roam isn't a deathmatch but if you're gonna be obeying the speed limits and stopping at stop signs, you're just asking to get killed. I don't see the point in role playing real life in a realistic video game when you can do that in real life and actually get rewards for it.

Its a funny story, but maybe you should of just left them be. I wish i could find players like these people to play with. I wouldn't follow street lights and such, but at least there wouldn't be constant boring killing.

Hah! No kidding, if you are playing the game in any way at all... you are roll playing. ... dungeons and dicks, dragons and dildos... all the same. So he was a 3rd level Commuter and the poster was just a 5th level Assassin. Sounds like he was rollplaying to me too.

If you wanna kill players that were not doing any harm to you then may I suggest you join a Death Match game, or are you afraid someone might actually kick your ass? The reason they call it free roam is that people can do what they want. If they don't want to drive at high speed, kill innocent civilians and be a total arse like you have then Free-Roam allows them to do as they please. Personally I would have kicked you too, and probably would in future games. It's because of sackless POS' like yourself that ruins other peoples fun.

 

Like I said if you want to kill other online players then play a real DM game, otherwise you deserve to get kicked.

Well some people like to roleplay and not do killing and such. You just need to follow what others do. Roleplaying isnt stupid.

And it's not just for roleplay, it's for exploration. At least people should have the coutersy to ask if they want to have a stand-off or something. Sure accidents happen, I mean I was being chased with a 5 star wanted level and had several police cars in pursuit. Another online player was running across the road and even though I managed to serve around him taking out several NPC's in the process the other player ended up bouncing off the hood of a cop car and dying. Sh!t happens like that. Deliberatly going out of your way to ruin someones fun however is just not on.

I explore in party mode, tbh. Much easier and you have all the weapons/transport you could want at your fingertips.
