If someone is rank 10 he'll obviously be a better teammate than a rank 5 or 6 because he's played so long he clearly knows his way around the game. With the amount of work it takes to level up, you can actually get an estimate of a player's skill by his rank, as opposed to other online games where it's so easy to increase rank even twelve-year-olds with the whiniest voices in the galaxy can hit higher ranks with ease. It'll still take plenty of time and effort even with cheating to get to the top. I seriously doubt any 10-year-old will have the time or patience to do so. Hell, you need over a hundred thousand dollars just to get to rank five, and the money increases with each level. Anyone with the patience to do nothing but shoot each other in an empty parking lot over and over for many hours a day for up to a week probably has serious issues anyway. That's not what I meant. Even if I save, I always reset to 1. I'm at 3 again from all day today, but I bet the next time I start the game (I saved after), I'll be at one again. He didn't know the shortcuts when he was a level 0 and he may have been really sh*t back then. But then got better through practice. You can't say people who have the rank 10 were more skilled when they were level 0 than the current level 0s are. The ones that are best at NOOSE are the best because they have played it a lot, not because they were super awesome at the game before playing NOOSE a thousand times. And on NOOSE everyone earns the same amount (not including any money picked up), so the best and the worst player on the team will earn about the same. Most people will be able to catch up on the fact that you should get helicopters and get to the safe zone after playing it for a round. I'm not saying that I wouldn't rather play with a level 10 than a level 1, as I obviously would. What I'm saying is that your skill level doesn't affect your rank up speed very much in NOOSE unless you are horrendously bad.
