Wow I Found An Amazing Place to hide from the cops

I prefer the strip club. There is a lot of civilian hostages to help you to get your wanted level up.

 

The one I use (the Triangle, I believe) is great, because there is only one entrance, and that is in the front (obviously) directly perpendicular to the (un?)dressing/makeup room.

 

There is even a health thing in there, in case for some reason you'll need it.

Thats what I did but with way more style I got packie to get me a car bomb and I drove in the hospital and I took cover and blew the car up KLilling a bunch of people which then gave me 1 star the I ran out killed any survivors and hid again and just killed em as they ran into the hall

I got my achievement by mistake. Took a boat around the island when I first got the game (I maybe had 5%) and went out too far, apparantly. Got six stars right away but just kept gunning it around ALL the islands, running from the helis, the boats, the cops on the bridges..... eventually made it back to shore, beached the boat as close to the safehouse as I could, and SOMEHOW made it back to bed to save.

 

I think it's a little over 30 minutes.

I experimented with the Statue of Happiness shootout, I got up to 5 stars and shot down every helicopter gunner that came.

 

When I started to go low on ammo (an AK-47 with 1 clip and a pistol) I waited for the next chopper, shot the two gunner dudes on the chopper, then made a run for the boat on the bottom (near the side of the wall or wherever), then I just gunned it out of there, 4 police boats and 2 copters chased, I somehow made it to safety outside the search area, and evaded.

 

I got my walk free accomplishment and felt pretty good. From now on when I just want to raise h*ll Im going to the Statue and setting up camp, once the Po-Po are dead, your a lone wolf out there, just stack up the ammo and no one will touch you, all the food replinishment you can handle between chopper raids, and watching those idiots fall to the ground is great.

 

In closing, add me to the Statue of Happiness being the supreme place to raise h*ll and survive wihtoutfear of being raided.

No joke. You have to be in a cubicle though, and make sure they didnt see you go in and the door has to be shut

 

and you can stay there for hours

so i take it you don't really "lose" the cops cos your wanted level remains the same.

I went to happiness island and shot the pilot in the helicopter. Somehow, after the chopped came down and exploded, the noose agents were still alive but I killed them. I don't know how they can survive that fall.

Some of you use the term cheat wayyyyy too liberally. Doing something in a manner that differs from your own is not cheating. Some people want a good battle, others will take another route. I used the tunnels and I can't believe some of you schmucks would consider that "cheating". Played every single GTA since 3, 100% on every game, I play with no cheat codes in story mode and auto-target off yet if I run through tunnels they bothered writing into the game, it's cheating?

Maybe some of you aren't too bright and like doing things the hard way. Ever consider perhaps there is a REASON these things were written into the game as such?

I got my 6 star acheivement on accident. I had 3 stars and I crashed my car at the Liberty Terminal. I shot 2 walking police officers and then went into the terminal where the bays are for the boats. The cops just kept coming in 4 at a time from 1 direction. No Coast guard. Choppers couldnt fly low enough to shoot. I didnt run out of ammo cuz the cops used the same assault rifle i had. I could have gone on forever, but after i got the acheivement i just grabbed a car and headed out. You can survive a 6-star wanted level almost anywhere. i was just getting ready to quit playing for the day, so i saved at the safehouse in Bohan. When i woke up, i started shooting things in the apt. cops came and i killed them..killed the next..kept going all the way to 6 stars...did this for like 10 minutes or so before i eventually just turned the game off so i wouldnt die and have to pay another 10 grand to heal. It was a lot easier than i thought it was going to be.

althougha very good idea its cheating.lol...becuase if you got the achievment out of it its not considered a legit achievement and people will be more impressed if you can actualy survive 6 wanted stars out in the open instead of cowering in the tiolets.lol

Great point, especially in a game like GTA IV. I highly dislike the n00b morons and the anal bitches who complain about anybody who doesn't play exactly.like.them.

yea i fount that too, and if you shoot the door it stays open(i mostly drive car bombs in there and hide in the toilets) ps. who else saw the place full of rabi's and jews?

You can camp in any [email protected] by parking a car infront of the door, jumping over it and crouching through the doorway. The cops will just sit outside walking around and wont even bother trying to get in.

 

That is, until some stupid cop comes flying in and smashes the car out of the way with their own, then you've got a mad cop rush coming for you

if i ever want to hide i use any safehouse with an elevator cos the cops cant go up them (well i dont think they can) and save is just a few feet away if you get bored annnnnnd there are your cars outside you ever want to have a proper chase.

but most of the time i just go the airport and pick up the big thing with the huge wheels (for some reason even though it has a massive window at the front ive never been shot in it) and just drive around smashing into cop cars and swat vans untill i blow up (i will never be caught by the police)
