Not gary. gary is the brother of Ash from the anime, who somehow has less brain cells then a soapdish. Red is the main charicter of the first gen. games, and blue is the rival. Well mostly, if you were playing the Red version you were Red and the rival was Blue and if you were playing the Blue version it was Vice Versa. Tommy is much more of a two dimensional character, and less human than Niko. I dislike this argument. Sure, Rstar made Niko a more human GTA character, but Tommy is a far more standout character. A man betrayed, with dreams of grandeur, and the will to take over a city despite all that stands in his way. -Tommy Niko had a very deep story, but so did Tommy, Rstar just didn't delve into it. That's the only difference I see between them. Tommy had no aspirations other than selling drugs. He was very one dimensional. Not once did I hear Tommy say, "I like this car, or I like this house, or even I like this girl." I couldn't connect with his character, because he never show any emotion towards his belongings. He was just kinda selling alot of drugs, and not really caring about actually enjoying his money. Another thing that drew me away from connecting with him, was the fact his story is straight outta Scarface. The only difference is he's an Italian, and not a refugee. I still loved him though. 1.
