Actually that would be 10 minuets in game time. As it takes 48 minuets for a day to pass in the game. Thats why you don't arrive late when Roman asks to meet you in an hour. That happened to me while I was doing one of the "Most Wanted" missions. The guy was in a car & I shot it up. The guy jumped out & he was on fire. He jumped in the air & rolled himself into a ball. Then he got back up & was just standing there on fire. I knew he was still alive because he still had the little red arrow over his head. I waited a few seconds & noticed him start to walk around. I'd say two to three times for me personally, but I've seen fire in various forms plenty of times. It's one of the unpredictable factors in damage optioning that the game integrates. I just bumped into a taxi driver's door and he bursts into flames when he comes out and yells at me, but he doesn't die until he sets his own car on fire which explodes, sending him flying into a skyscraper.
