When you get hit by a car and you've just bought a nice shiny new hat or glasses, your hat/glasses fall off and you have to go back to your safehouse to put them back on... :s 2. dragonballz9 Posted May 19, 2008 Share Posted May 19, 2008 Gta iv is very good but sometimes it becomes very booring.I hate the , 10.I hate it that when you are on a call or call after a misson ,you cant run and people are shooting at you. 9.When you find a good car like sultan rs or infurnes it will appear everywhere. 8.Less guns and clothes (Like they copied the less guns feathur from saints row). 7.Story line is good but short. 6.Radio stations suck. (again) 5.Scripted chase missions, ,like in a mission with only a gun someone blows a boat .(again) 4.Peds drive cars and bikes slowly ,like someone is driving a pgr900 and drives it at 40km/hr this sucks i want every car to be driven differently . 3.Missons are only about gun fights and chases.About 60% 2.Some places are not used like happenes island or that prison. 1.After 100% theres nothing better to do. My friends came to my house they are poor they dont even have ps1 they work in our house.They played the game and said the game was booring i thought they never even saw a xbox360 or ps3 but they said this. If the next would feature a mandatory install, the Xbox would no longer be holding back GTA. (29 DVD-9 disks and one Blu-ray disk for GTA IV: Vice City) But, let me remind you that both of these consoles hold back GTA. If the game were a PC exclusive, it could look and play like Crysis. That is odd, from what I have heard from at least one developer...is that because of the slower read time of Bluray...they have to employ tricks to prevent slow down such as: "Most developers who use the entire Blue Ray drive are doing it to work around other problems with the ps3 such as it's slow loading - for instance, in Resistance: Fall of Man, every art asset is stored on disk once for every level that uses it. So rather than storing one copy of a texture, you're storing it 12 times. If you took that entire game and removed all the duplicate data, it would likely fit on a DVD without any problem. They do this to speed up load times, which, as I pointed out before, are painfully slow on the ps3. So in this case, the extra space is completely wasted." Also, this would explain the need to have a mandatory install on the harddrive of the PS3, whereas the XBOX did not. I am not saying that one is better than the other. I just didn't see where what you said were "facts", as you said. Now of course, if you have at least somewhat reputable sources (what I mean is fanboy websites are not included) to shed light on your proof...I would be happy to read it. I do agree with the PC exclusive part though. PC's are so fast in their adoption of new technology, even crysis will be old in time. Roman always f*cking calling. 5. Scripted chase missions. 4. Cars purposefully turning into you so you crash. 3. Melee fighting being glitchy online. 2. Rolled Over Achievement. 1. Auto Aim. We all love GTA but what do you hate about it? I dunno about the X-box and online stuff. But I agree with a couple of things there. The car thing especially. When you've crashed on the 5th lap of a long race and the only cars visible are those of the race, and then as soon as the race ends you get run over from behind! 9. handling of the kick-start moto. Did my head in on the final mission (to the point where i felt like launching my Xbox out the window). 8. No blowies while driving (would be so funny) 7. not being able to get drunk alone (at least to my knowledge). 6. Counter attack achievement. either i get 8 counters in 2 mins and then no one will fight me, or i get 8-9 counters in 2-3 mins and then pick a fight with a gang member or everyday-hero who then pulls a knife or gun and kills me. OR, i get to the 9th counter and a f*cking doughnut munching cop shoots or arrests me, i then have to bail and run out of time. 5. Bowling. HATE IT. got so close to a turkey. each time the third bowl i leave one pin.... 4. No ambulance or Taxi missions 3. Can't purchase cars or motor bikes from car lots. 2. the sheer number of same cars that spawn when you're in certain vehicles (from my experience). SUV's, and most crap cars spawn all the time. 1. not long enough. ok granted, i did play it for 65 hours, but i just wish it was longer. I also wish they'd make a mission editor. That would give players endless longevity. That being said, this game is easily the best thing i've ever played. of course there's going to be minor flaws or issues that get peoples back's up, but thats because we weren't part of the design team and so couldn't implement them or change them. Not that it matters though, i think R* have done a blinding job on this game.
