MCFC
I bought the guide, to mainly look at the car section, the clothes section, the weapon section, and the girlfriend section, I was also looking forward to a mobile phone numbers, and internet cafe section.... But when I opened the book there was no car section, the weapons, well you can't really call it a section, girlfriends wasn't like the GTA SA guide, and the clothes section was non-existant, mobile numbers, internet addresses... no where to be found ?? Why has brady guides not included this? My opinion is not to buy the guide... Anybody else extremely dissapointed?
GTA3Freak-2001
Yeah its a pretty lacking guide, especially when compared to past games such as Vice City. Now that was what you call a great guide to a great game!

They usually are crappy, and you can find way better information online.
MCFC
I was hoping for a GTA:SA guide -- perfect. Too bad you can't take back books... :[ The mission part of the guide is great, very in-depth, but game is easy enough without a walkthrough... fatty-666
well why didn't you go into the shop first and flick through the pages. it's not like they are vaccuum packed. If you want a list of all the websites - make one! on the home page just click the "im feeling lucky" button and just write down all the websites, then post it here. Freakorama
I was hoping for a GTA:SA guide -- perfect. That thing had f*cking mis-prints with horse shoe locations and crap.
wafflemaster
I was hoping for a GTA:SA guide -- perfect. That thing had f*cking mis-prints with horse shoe locations and crap. The SA guide was a freakin bible !! I actually still have my copy on the shelf despite no longer having the game Part of its charm were the glaring errors in tag and horse-shoe locations. Who wants to get all the collectibles in 5 minutes flat ?? I was definitely considering buying the guide to IV, but the lack of a car section is a total farce IMO !! Seriously, that was the best bit. Although, since R* decided to butcher the import/export mini-game by telling you exactly where to find each vehicle, I suppose it has limited use for a vehicle guide
Axe_Gaijin
Guides are a waste of money. First of all they're almost always incorrect in one or several areas. And second, this is the information age. With fora like this and many otheres and sites like GameFaqs who friggen needs a guide?
Vanillainy
I found it to be alright, I bought it for the pigeon guide and stevies cars mainly. Did the job fine, no mistakes.
thebritishbulldog
brady guides are ALWAYS rubbish. I LOL'ed at the guy who loved the "charm" of the massive amount of error they always have. Piggyback guides are much much better but online guides are much much much much better Edited May 18, 2008 by thebritishbulldog

Algonquin Assassin
Guides are a waste of money. First of all they're almost always incorrect in one or several areas. And second, this is the information age. With fora like this and many otheres and sites like GameFaqs who friggen needs a guide? Because maybe you might want a guide next to you while you play, instead of looking at the internet everytime you want to find something? This, and the VC guide are the only ones I've ever bought. I mainly bought it for the pigeons, unique jumps, side missions etc. Although I have used the tips in it to help through a few missions. Also something to read when I'm bored.
