Ghost Train \

In the liberty city subways a ghost train is roaming the tracks... as in all the other gta's there is a ghost train. this one is obviously put there on purpose though... there are only two cars... no passengers.... you cn out run it...it goes through stopped trains but can kill you.... has anyone else seen it....i was just cruising my infernus and shooting the subway stops and then i saw the train...

btw if you want a good laugh get 6 stars and find the point where the tracks meet the ground and get all the cops on the tracks and let the trains have at em.

I don't recall a ghost train in any other GTA's. And this sounds like a glitch rather than a ghost.

Iv never seen it but i did hear it , alot, i was just sitting in a subway station andi kept hearing the sound of a train but no train was in site. I kept looking sitting on the tracks and i guess i was looking in the wrong direction at the wrong time cause i heard the train and thought it was a ghost train but it was a real train. Poor Niko. So i belive it but i just never saw it.

ok for those who do not recall...the flying train.....the invisible train... and the translucent train from the other gta are referred to as ghost trains....

for those who think it is a myth... ride around the subways and you'll eventually find it. It isnt too hard considering i went and found it again after to make sure it wasnt just a glitch.

if you hear it and dont see it its because it isnt there yet...it moves so slow you can actually walk faster....but it still projects the same sound as a regular train. it also has no head lights like a normal train so it is easier to spot from behind....though if you are looking for it you will not miss it....im not totally sure about where all it goes...but i always find it in the subway i never seen it on the above ground track...

and has any one noticed that the people jump onto the subway tracks if you ride by real slow and honk?....the freak out and start running down the track.

OK. If you were at Easton, That was Broker Line Trains Stopping In the other Station.

 

If you were at Frankfort Low, Those were trains passing Below on the Red And Green Lines. Or they were trains stopping at the Frankfort High Station.

I do hear trans but i just think it trains on other lines nearby, you can hear em from up above going underneath you, I never recalled 'ghost trains' from past GTAs OR any other folklore for that matter

I've been through a big tunnel with six wanted stars and I never saw it and I was in the tunnel where there's juctions inside with a first aid kit. I don't know if that's the same tunnel. I remember a lot of things people claimed to have seen in SA that I never saw such as a yeti in the woods and a shark swimming under the bridge south of San Fierro and there's a map showing where the shark is located but it's supposed to only be there ar certain time. I went there so many times at different times and I never saw the shark. I later asked Rockstar about the yeti and they told me the news was a hoax. In GTA 4, I need to see footage or a photo of the ghost train to believe it unless I do see it in the game first.

 

I remember somebody told me about Niko going in a diner and when he charges into the gents like a mad man he sometimes catches an angry man sitting on the bog taking a crap. I asked Rockstar about that and they said the person that told me was talking rubbish.

 

I've heard about a phoney cheat in GTA III called Piss Up The Wall where Claude pisses up a wall or a cop and it never worked, the same as a cheat in SA where CJ can sh*t his pants. It's said that when you enter that cheat, a bulge appears around CJ's arse with a fart sound and he says, "Oh, sh*t, I need changing," with pedestrains telling him he stinks when there's some about. That cheat was a fake.

The ghostship was a joke and is to be taken as such. The ghosttrain on the other hand is a joke thats to be taken seriously.

The only picture I'm not too sure about in that is the one of the fire fighter holding his head in his hands....seems a little too much IMO.
