i find it funny all these people say GTA:SA is their favorite and its better than gta4 when i personally hated gta:sa and never liked it because of the gameplay and useless stuff that you had to do to get through it. All these people are complaining about the lack of useless stuff i hate. (Such as gay side missions, useless clothes i never wear, tattos, haircuts). I was waiting since gta:vc for a game of gta i would actually like and not be plagued by said useless crap i hate. i think thats why i love gta4 so much

I feel the same way about it. In general, SA was a great game for LAST generation. For the new generation, GTA IV definitely beats all.

 

I don't think it's fair to compare IV to the older games. They're two completely different games. They don't look alike, feel alike, or seem alike. R* started completely new with IV, and I just don't think people should be comparing it to SA, which was made for a completely different console.

I gotta agree with CaptainKon, though at the time i loved GTA:SA and tryed to ignore the superfluous features like eating for asthetic reasons, tats, all that sh*t...the different fighting styles were sick as f*ck dont get me wrong.

even working out to get all beefy, i dont think the star of GTA should resemble Kimbo Slice(search on youtube if you live under a rock).

 

im stoked GTA4 dosnt include b/s sh*t that takes up time you could be spending murkin newjack busters in the subway.

IMO gta IV is the best gta ever made, the storyline is just amazing and puts you in it, the actors played their roles beautifully and you can feel the character's pain or happiness, i wish they made the money more useful like buying cars or something like that and the only other thing i wish they did, was make the story longer in every gta i just wish the storyline went longer. The people who create the stories are really really good, i also love how your choices effect the game and is remembered by everyone else.

I think it was just the option of having so many things to do, buy, etc. that made people like it more. IV just has weapons and...err...strippers to buy?
