I'm talking more weapons, vehicles, planes, maybe a small hidden part of Liberty City...as in a small city. I would love this but this is what I think, how come they haven't released the DLC yet?...must it be something that is big? Also new missions will be incuded...thats obvious I guess. What do you people think? Oh and a secret item like the Jetpack in San Andreas, I think this is what makes GTA...GTA. As for what I think will be in the DLC- maybe some new cars, some new weapons, a new island at most and that doesn't include the missions. But, should we really be talking about DLC that probably won't come available for download until maybe late summer or early fall...? joanus Posted May 17, 2008 Share Posted May 17, 2008 I think having a new area of the map would cause problems in multiplayer, for playing with those that don't have it, unless it was disabled during multiplayer, then people would moan how they can't use it in multi. I expect more missions as a guarantee. Again weapons may cause similar problems to the island scenario... and ps3 owners and non-DLC payers would feel singled out and cheated, which then could effect the brand image for future GTA's Soooo, in conclusion I reckon just more missions. There won't be a new city, not even a new block. I'd be SURPRISED if it had any new weapons, but we'll see about that. It will probably be some new side missions, and more random NPC meetings. Not a whole new damn game, like so many people are expecting. Use some damn logic. There just seems to be so many places that aren't being used in multiplayer simply because nobody spans even remotely close to it. Also, I would like to see more missions, interiors and safe houses. It is a huge pain in the ass to have to drive halfway across the city just to save. I have now gotten into the habit of using taxis to travel to safe houses... But still. Why would Rockstar work their asses off to build you a whole new city when all you do is spend a few gamerpoints on it? well, they themselves have stated that there WILL be new cities released as DLC instead of "expansions" like vice city and so on... on the other hand, i doubt it since the download would be HUGE. another point is that there probarbly wont be any DLC before august... why? well because saints row 2 is released in august... so they want to compete with that by releasing as much dlc as possible then...
