Yeah, it's very hard to kill someone with a car head-on... I've never really done it myself either, but I've been killed plenty of times by a single well-placed car to the head.

 

People also seem to get up faster than me when they're hit. They fall and immediately they're up and shooting again, but when I'm getting hit it takes me ages to get up. Maybe that's just an adrenaline thing though.

This is so weird,i sometimes I hit people with a turismo at full speed and they won't die,on the other hand couple of days back someone killed me hitting me while i was on a bike!!! wtf,i had full health and i just died (and it wasn't even full speed)

here's my 2pence worth.

 

I think part of the problem is the vehicle being used. A turismo doesn;t have much surface area, so when you hit someone, you are only really forcing impact onto a small area. Speed obviously plays a factor. But I reckon the bigger and more sturdier the vehicle the better chance you have of killing someone by hitting them at full speed.

That's why I prefer the Sultan (not the RS) or something thats got a good bit of acceleration and a big bumper.

 

When trying to run people over, I usually try and hit them at an angle rather than straight on. I think that if you hit them straight on, they tend to bounce over the top of the vehicle, whereas if you hit them at an angle they are more likely to get crushed as you drive over them.

 

In turf wars I usually don't hang around long enough when I see someone whilst driving to a turf. I'll run them over and if they dont die, I don't hand around to become RPG bait.

I remember once hitting Riko full pelt and he didn;t die, I got out of the area as quick as possible before he could fire a RPG (that's even if he was armed with one, we all know it was a high possibility).

Most people here live precisely in the other side of the world. We usually play from 10 pm GMT on. We have a few aussies who play with us, but I guess it's morning for them there.

tbh I think rockstar got it just right with the car/kill ratio. Imagine if you died evertime you were hit by a car. It would be more deadly than an RPG...

M's spot is just great! He was killing me from there in a game weeks ago... I knew where he was at after he killed me the 2nd time, but he got me the 3rd and 4th aswell when I was trying to take him out.

 

I knew where he was at when he shot Riko aswell, and when I was about to shoot Riko (who was trying to stab me) I witnessed the headshot right infront of me. One of the greatest TW-moments I could witness this far.

I only know that U are doing it without a helicopter. I guess it's a fire-escape or open door somewhere...

 

And maaaan, that shot was looking like out of a zombie movie I saw but can't remember the name, lol. He was falling to the floor in the middle of a stab-motion... simply epic!

 

BTW, I think I saved Kayla's life last night in a TDM on charge island (I think its charge island, dunno what they are called). You were standing on the highest point of the highways and aimed at her while she was running on the main highway, then I snipered you before you could make the shot.

 

Those sniping life saver moments are just great!!

I was in a TW in Bohan last night. Somebody of the usual suspects from here was in the building near the garage turf with a shotgun. He killed me over and over caus I was going up there and didn't had a shotgun. 4 of my random no brainer "teammates" were running around inside the garage and nobody was smart enough to follow me into the building to kill the enemy.

 

I couldn't be bothered with getting a shotgun myself or go to another turf caus I was pissed off enough to just go up there again and again in hope that somebody is going to follow.

 

Im also sick of those people that shoot at you when you won't enter their car caus you are about to defend a turf instead of leaving it back empty.

 

Sometimes I just don't have the patience for TWs at all. Unfortunately it's the only gamemode you get invited to mostly...

Pet hate of mine is people pull up and pamp at you to get in but obviously im preferring to stay on foot but they keep driving alongside you pamping, so annoying especially if your trying to sneak up on someone.

 

One time during TW i was hiding in a bush and a car pulled up with 2 of them in it, pamped the horn at me and because i didnt move they started shooting at me, Friendly fire offf Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Im sorry to say this, but i will not be taking part in random turf wars if there is randoms in the game, im sorry but i told this to Ex last night 2.

 

Last night i had a few games with the usual lot, but there were far more randoms in it aswell, 2 games i had everytime i captured a turf i would stay there, i would go look on my map to see what everyone else was doing, and i see all the randoms either all at one turf not guarding the others or them all just roaming the streets doing f*ck all, for e.g,

 

Me no name and Ex was in 1 team, each of us were at at turf ON OUR OWN! and the rest were just letting the enemies taking the other turfs, coz they thought they had nothing to do when all the turfs are been taken by us. NO, they should all go to a turf, the blips were on team, so they should know they need 2 on each turf at least, well that wasnt the case, and i am sick of randoms not knowing what to do in a Turf war. so im afraid i won't be playing if u have randoms in the team, its either the gang we got in here or ill just play free roam or another game!

 

I am sooo pissed off with randoms at the min, it makes me not wanna take part.

The last couple of weeks have bin the same with these so called Randoms. they don't know what to do, they dont defend and they all go to a turf in 3s and 4s its sickening tbh. so im caling time off till we sort out (the old turf wars)

 

Sorry to bring this on ya all, but like Ex i am soo pissed off with randoms playing and not knowing wtf to do. end off.

 

i will post this in the DDzn page and Lyps3 page soon if u didn't see this one. or if u keep inviting me to turf wars with random sh*t people.

 

Sorry this is kinda a rant but not about you Turf warriors, its about the randoms we play with. some randoms have turned out great and have even got to know us for e.g Noname. we need more pople like him, not these sh*t randoms who just free roam in T.W and dont do the job properly.

 

Edit: i just woke up so excuse me lol but don't invite me if u have randoms playing, id rather play with people from in here and know what they are doing!

I see your point but the problem is that is not very easy to fill a lobby only with people from the forum... and also how do u find new skilled players if u don't let randoms in from time to time?

Usually there aren't so many randoms playing... if u check the tales u can see that in the majority of the matches there are 1 or 2 randoms x team max. And sometimes is fun if u have one team from the forum and the other made of randoms... Anyway I understand your concern...

Personally when many randoms are in my team I play more relaxed and I try new things/spots that I'll use in more hardcore forum TWs... I mean, I'm not gonna waste my time in defending if I see that my teammates don't know how to play strategically. BTW sometimes u get good randoms and win against a full forum team. It happens... u can read it in TW tales...

Thats what i mean't Riko, i only play if there is a few randoms, but not about 6 or 7 randoms like there was last night, doing f*ck all. I know u get skilled players from it, but u get more sh*tty randoms playing then the skilled 1s most ov the time.

 

One guy i remember had scores of 0.9.0.4 lol

 

But yer only invite me if its a big forum turf war, anyone who invites me to a bunch of randoms team, ill just leave.

And then they look for defenders in like a 2 square feet radius of the purple or orange area near a turf!

Yea i'm pretty much in agreeance with Doc. I enjoy slaughtering randoms and unless it's the regular TW time it's near impossible to get more than 3 or 4 warriors in a lobby at once. I'm with both Joe and Ex that it can be very frustrating to watch them run around like fools and act like morons but what can you do other than stop playing all together? I guess it doesn't bother me as much because I've been playing with "randoms" for so long so i know what to expect. Also randoms keep me on my toes because they do not play the way that most of us do.

 

Just know folks that i'm always going to invite whomever is online and 99% of the time it will be TW, 80% of the time it will be with a decent ammount of randoms. I you have no intrest in joining just shoot me a quick XMB msg letting me know and i'll leave you alone.

A bit off topic but during one of the TW yesterday with that guy Lil - Trey, think ex -M- and LFC were in this one, after the game ended and it was going into lobby he kept it at Bohan, i sent him message to say change location and he replied with your mom, eh whatttttttt lol i left shortly afterwards due to his horrendous insult.

I've not played TW's for over 2 weeks now, so I don't know if the randoms are getting worse. But I agree with Doc, I like playing against some randoms now and again, it makes you feel better coz you can dish it out to them. It can be stressful at times.

I remember before the DTW cup, I would join some DTW setting TW's with Twind, there would be a load of randoms, and they'd often travel in packs of 3. It would get frustrating when they kept tooting the horn at you to get in their car (RPG bait).

But how fun is it when you see a car with 4 randoms in it, you take out the driver and watch the others become sitting ducks. The amount of times I've made myself look good infront of friends by sniping the driver of a car and then take out the passengers 1 by one, or even snipe the driver then RPG the car and the remaining passengers.

 

Playing against randoms can be entertaining but also stressful, when they begin to annoy me. I'll go for a smoke, come back all chilled out and then mess around. I once had a random who was following me around constantly. So I crouched and hid, whilst I stacked up a bong hit, smoked the bong then came back. The guy had eventually gone since I was doing nothing, but I gave him a taste of his own medicine. I found him on the map, followed him around getting in the way of his bullets. I eventually pissed him off coz I got a PSN msg complaining, so I sent a reply with "what goes around comes around, deal with it".

 

It is a game at the end of the day, and it's meant to be fun. I have to admit I take it too seriously at times.

Well, just stop sending an invite when there are more random than turf warriors lot of randoms... I accept TDM or whatever, np. But I just don't see too much sense in palying a TW when you got teammates that don't even have a clue what you need to to for a win.

I'd never played a TW before I started playing with you guys. (Way back on page 29 ) So playing with randoms is fun for me. I usually just search for new sniper spots and it's fun because they just stand still for an easy headshot...

 

I've been playing with randoms recently during the daytime. Sometimes me and Drank take on 3/4 of them and always win. With like 2/3 deaths between us. It's pritty funny

 

Boca: I remember that guy. Blips were on far so I just hid in the building near the garage turf and shottied him like 4 times in a row. He eventually gave up haha

Yer we all love playing with Randoms, but its too easy for us tbh, when its forum TW's we are all competetive in different ways and all as good as each other, plus its practice for when we do forum battles i.e DDzn V Lyps3 DDzn V I.O.S or G.B's.

 

All im saying is only invite me when its just a forum T.W from now on, if u got randoms in the lobby, turn it to a TDM that way i aint bothered if im against or with randoms, coz i do my own thing in that mode.

 

@ Twind: yer invite me wen u want ill keep that in mind, when u invite me ill quickly psn message ya saying no or if i come in i will stay or leave str8 away, but if i leave that either means i lost connection or i simply cant be arsed.

 

I know we all like finding great spots in T.W's but thats what Free mode is for, 2 check them places out.

Im not at all pissed off with you guys, its just the no brainer randoms we see lol

 

Anywayz Twind if ure not idle in Cod, invite me lol.

Edit: Off topic but bad news for Hip-Hop fans as we hear the news that Dr Dre's son has died at 20 years old in his bed at 5am after a Party! Poor Dre, (~Joe sparks spliff up ~ )
