Pity you switched to race.

I switched to race in an attempt to continue to mix it up. I, personally, had no desire to race so it was dissapoining to see everyone bail when you couldve run the 3 minute race and suggested the next game, like was done previously, Oh well. I do appreciate everyone coming to my host when I couldn't join.

Ah, I didn't realize you were the host. I thought it was a random game.

 

Next time I'll check before bailing.

about TDMs: I don't mind doing a couple every night... I'm getting better at that... Not in the Docks one though... I hate the docks for a TDM.... And there was only one sniper rifle pick up (I got 8 kills and 9 deaths, in the majority while I was going for the rifle). In the 4 vs 4 in Charge Island (my favourite place for TDM) it was much better for me (9/3)... Sniped a lot of people and killed Joe with a knife after that he attacked me (with a knife)

Darn Joe and not knowing it was DTW settings Team killed me in the first 3 minutes

 

Infamous121 is another PSN TW friend of mine, great player but for whatever reason doesn't like to play with our settings. Too bad because he is damn good. I was going to start a gang with NoName and Infamous but Infamous backed out at the last minute so that was that. He's young and only seems to care about kill count and $.

Finally back to myself (well partly)

That TDM with RAW - why do we keep playing those mouse users? Its enough checking their scores to know they use them - they all died more then 20 times (triple the amount of times we died!) and got alot of kills,they don't have any strategy,they just go into gun fights and 90% win them because of the mouses...They finally die after they gain 3-4 kills... And one of them once killed me through a wall

The first time you invited me, Doc, the game got stuck on loading screen.

 

 

Then Tricky was driving me around and the game froze so I had to restart.

 

 

Then the game froze AGAIN while in the lobby waiting for a new game to start.

 

 

Then it got stuck on loading screen once more while joining a random TDM just now. Now I'm getting invites so I'll go try again.

 

 

I wonder what the problem is.

Don't know if thats your problem,but when i go into XMB while or before the game loads,it always stucks...So if you're doing the same,don't get into XMB while loading

Also in the beginning of the game my own team was attacking me, one with a rocket launcher and another on top of something with an uzi... And they weren't randoms either, which was why I was so confused.

 

And then I hop a random fence, someone shoots at me, I see the bullet hit, and boom, game freezes with the drops of blood suspended in mid-air.

I'm gonna stop for the day I guess. The PS3's not overheating or anything and the game doesn't have scratches. No idea what it could be.

Yes, but an extremely strong one that has never so much as faltered before. It wouldn't explain the freezing anyway. That'd be more of a disconnected from player error.

I was getting killed so much Couldn't think strategically at all so I started chasing the enemy with a knife I was a bit drunk too... I emptied half a bottle of cahaça (brasilian spirit), a couple of shots per game...

Only counting TW I got 12 tales to type... We played at least 6 TDM, a couple of races and one DM... Neverending night for GMT citizens

You killed me with a knife! You jumped out of some completely random bush, sprinted at me, and sliced me before I could get 5 shots off. I was embarrassed beyond belief.

 

It sucks that I missed most of that though. I think I only caught the last 2 or 3 TDMs. For the first time ever I'm having doubts about my PS3. But hey, I've played the 360 and I'll take my one-off buggy PS3 any day.

Doc i was with ya last night i was a 12 pack deep (birthday drunkeness) when I came back after dinner time then by the time we all quit i was in for another 6. the best part was, I shut the PS3 off went to bed then 30 minutes later my 4 month old woke up and wouldn't go back to sleep for more than 30 minutes at a time the rest of the night. needless to say today is a ruff day.

Well, anyway we owned them. I loved this set of Dukes 5 turfs. There was a turf I never saw in the Dukes port warehouse zone. Damn good turf to defend. I took them out many times there. how'd you people do it, i can't see what's in the tv when i'm drunk, it's just a blur, yet explicit just joins and does massacres, wasted or not.

 

also that tw redifined glitch, infact in yiddish the word glitch means gta online, i was walking through walls, and people and coudn't get into cars and they started blowing up and invisible people where taking turfs...

 

also fagfx might be more convenient but the real losers are those who actually paid money to buy it so they can at gta, which i doubt s very rewarding

Russians won 6187$-4394$. Well, in this one me and explicit met so many times it was ridicoulous. We met at any possible corner and especially in the waterfront turf. He killed me at least 3 times... I killed him maybe 2... But the funny part was once when after that I killed him (or after that he killed me somewhere else, can't remember well right now... maybe we killed each other ) I gain the turf then I see noname coming crouched to the turf, I think that is explicit so I hide behind a box and he goes to the unfinished building without seeing me, so, crouching, I go to the sniper spot I had in mind (always the same that explicit was going too during the all match), but toot is coming (but again I think that he's explicit), so I hide behind the same box, but he sees me and slowly comes to my direction, I was low in health so I savagely stab him then finally, I get to my spot, I have noname's head in my scope while he's gaining the turf ready to die and... the german sneaks behind me and kills me

After that I think that I killed him in his way back to the same spot after that he gained the turf... Not sure when this happened... Anyway it was a hell of a duel. @ Twind: mate, I saw u (10th) and noname (2nd) are in the top 10 in TW... U sure play a lot that game I got down to 36th or something... max I went was 19th.... But I see that a lot of people play really a lot... impossible to keep up for me. Anyway congrats, we have 2 from this topic in the top 10

I was as high as 6th the last time i checked but I stopped playing consistantly and am really only playing with you guys now so i guess i've fallen back some. Haven't checked it in a month or so. Oh well

Seems like I lost a great night of GTA yesterday... what's in tonight's event?

That's not it.

 

It just froze again, and that TDM was all weird. Like my minimap was off by a tiny bit, everything was shifted in the wrong direction. I was standing on where the weapon should be spawning but it was a bit further in game.

 

Also in the beginning of the game my own team was attacking me, one with a rocket launcher and another on top of something with an uzi... And they weren't randoms either, which was why I was so confused.

 

And then I hop a random fence, someone shoots at me, I see the bullet hit, and boom, game freezes with the drops of blood suspended in mid-air.

 

Fuuuuuuck.

 

I'm gonna stop for the day I guess. The PS3's not overheating or anything and the game doesn't have scratches. No idea what it could be.

I've had the exact same things happening to me... Game freezing.. continuous loading screens... getting kicked mid game... I got kicked about 5 times last night... it's fricking annoying.

 

a few very funny moments yesterday:

 

1. Riko slicing me up when I stupidly follow him behind a crate.

2. Blaz00r blowing me up with grenades as I stupidly follow him in a car.

3. Blaz00r taking me out when I couldn't switch from my sniper rifle to the M4 quick enough. (I must have looked such a n00b)

 

Oh and I found a brand new amazing sniper spot in Bohan, north eastern turf... I'll hopefully be trying it out tonight.

Haha the grenade one was funny,I saw you stopping just where the grenade was lying and bam

And the second one was in bohan right? Lol you didn't look like a noob because from my point of view you were just standing still not switching weapons,I thought you were looking through the sniper's scoop or something...

I couldn't really find my place in the TWs tonight. I drove all the way across Dukes just to get a sniper than try and get to toot's spot in a minivan forcing me to reverde and re-try multiple times onl to find him there RPGing everyone. Then I stroll to a nearby turf which Twind is guarding and I crouch next to him for a bit before I start to get no action and move on...

 

Then in Algonquin we started in my new favorite turf, so me and Riko go immidiatley for the sniper. We both had vantage points and toot was on the ground. After 5 mins of no action I get the msg 'Does it really need 3 of us' at which point I drive to the colony island turf only to set up camp at a 'marked' spot. Thanks for the Heads up Twind

 

So yeah, that's my turf war tale from tonight...

 

UPDATE: So I play Oblivion for an hour come back on and I play well, wtf? In Algonquin I manage to get to my ultra secret original sniper spot and kept that turf for a good 15 mins. I had two great moments at that spot.

 

1)So I'm watching the turf with my scope and as I scan across a bush I see Riko's tag. Next thing I know I see explicit pull up in a car and stand right by him. I don't know if they saw eachother so I move over so I can et a clear view and Riko is slashing him up with a knife so I just quickly adjut my scope and take a wild shot and Riko fell to the floor.

 

2)I'd already sniped TASO a couple of times so this time he brings his car for cover. He covers behind his car but I can see a little bit of head poking from behing the mirror and as I shot him his finger must've slipped on the RPG as his car caused a massive explosion... For some reason it felt cool making such chaos ove one little bullet. Like a chain reaction (so to speak)

 

In Conclusion this is why I love TWs...

 

Also Twind if ur hosting make sure to set it to midnight. There's nothing worse than bwing in a spot in broad daylight
