Sorry for the first TW we did yesterday where I had a 0-1-0.

 

I think Boca, Antichristo and somebody else was in it.

 

I was trying various sniper spots in Bohan and realized I suck as a sniper although the positions are good.

 

Boca, how the hell did you kill me though?

It looked to me like you were shooting me through the walls of that garage turf.

HOW TO AVOID FRIENDS LIST PROBLEMS

 

OK just to be sure:

 

start up the PS3, but DO NOT let the game load straight away.

 

In the PS3 menu, sign in.

 

Wait till your ENTIRE friends list has loaded, and it's completed showing who does what.

 

Wait 30 secs to be sure.

 

then start the game, go into FM (or party or whatever) and look at your mobile's friends list.

 

If working properly, it should show all the people your PSN list says is online.

 

Note: I have tried this a grand total of ONCE and it worked for me first time, and in my eagerness to share this solution to a common problem I have not yet done due diligence.

 

I will report if it fails me in the future.

First TW. Alderney industrial.

Err... A bit uneven... It ended like an 8 vs 4! Anyway was fun...

Russians: explicitmo, Blaz0r, LFC-JC9, BowZa28 + 4 -vs- Jamaicans: RikoBegovic, Globalklaus, lordjubblydave, rybyfaktor. Russians won 7951$-3495$. I had the impression that everybody wanted to RPG me... Especially Joe... Who knows why... Scores: explicit 4/0/2, Blaz 3/4/3, LFC 14/4/3 , BowZa 10/2/3 , Riko 3/5/2, Global 9/5/2 , lord 6/5/3, ryby 7/12/1.

 

Second TW. Algonquin.

Jamaicans: RikoBegovic, explicitmo, Page23, Globalklaus, lordjubblydave, rybyfaktor + 1 -vs- Russians: AntiChristo, Blaz00r, tjbcosmic, BowZa28, LFC-JC9 + 2. It may sound impossible but the Jamaicans won 5628$-3418$ Great match. Thanks to lord for that spot and Joe, I got u a couple of times (?) in this one, even with a nice headshot while I was sneaking behind u (and on the phone with a friend ) Great job Jamaicans Scores: Riko 3/4/2, explicit 4/1/1, Page 1/1/2, Global 8/1/2 , lord 0/5/0, ryby 4/3/3, AntiC 5/2/3, Blaz 4/3/1, LFC 4/2/3, tjb 0/0/0 (JG near the end), BowZa 6/6/2.

after gaining a turf i went to the usual Riko turf, good job 1 ov them randoms went first coz u rpg'd him at the turf, wen i saw where u shot from i fired at u with your own fav weapon! got that turf and then started my own defending, i had a good spot to hide and got a few more of ya until ya all came in groups and then was to much for me in dying seconds, was un even tho, them randoms kept switching sides and then last second in lobby they all changed to our side then most ov your team left ppl who swap teams last second to make it uneven shoudl be shot lol

While i was fooling around i accidentally(i swear ) ran over and killed LFC who was hiding behind a car...sorry mate And yeah what you are talking about is when i finished messaging doc im out so i just blew myself inside the car Maybe i should have tried to go into the turf and take someone with me...

When you see me running around with grenades its probably because im just chillin on the couch and dont feel like playing seriously,so you better just change the game to race or something

It's my new tactic! It seems to work as well. I figured whenever I creep I get owned by someone who's already hiding. So what I do is when someones taking turf I hide a fair distance away and then come in like nutter and because they are sneaking they end up leaking "Ain't that a bitch." ...Good thing we are on the same team in DTW Cup otherwise I'd be

Note to self: Always play TW drunk. If I could replicate the tactic I had, when sober- it wouldnt work. I dont know if you're a fan of the old Tintin comics. But my tactic was just like captain Haddock, when he in a drunken stupor charged the beduines, cursing all the way over the sand dunes. The beduines kept firing, but missed the drunken sod with every bullet.

 

That was me in that last TW. I decided that the southernmost turf was Mine. And then I just ran in there and detonated anyone trying to take it.

 

..think it was Antichristo who killed me that only time I got deaded. What a way to say the DTW partnership is over huh?!

 

And Im never getting that fragx thingy, Riko. Not because I think its cheating. Just because what I want is a mouse and a keyboard. I dont know about you folks, but my thumbs are dying from that evil sixasis thingamajingy. *Dying*

I played 2 DTW's with Twind last night, alot of randoms so alot of teamkills. I had 3 team kills at the end of it, damn.. 1 was accidental, some guy ran infront of the enemy when I was shooting them from across the road. The other 2 were killing some griefer before he could kill me.

 

Playing with randoms gives you practice of trying to run around like a nutter so the player ID shows. I was running around pressing L2 (L1 for you lot using standard control settings), trying to make the guy realise I was on his team.

 

Anyone up for some games this weekend with DTW settings?
