..what an "opening" tw after few days last night.. cool.gif

 

..tw in Dukes, I was coming to help (dunno who was there) at that turf all behind walls..when I was in front of it, I saw 4 or 5 Jamaicans, started to throw bombs between all of them and sliding around with orange Dukes like a Hazzard lol, and I killed one by one..then I parked the car, with another Russian tryed to gain the turf but there was our new recruit "jtvercetti" (looks good player btw, so welcome again!! icon14.gif ), he was behind that statue so I switched on RPG, blam, vercetti was gone with "lol" in chat lol.gificon14.gif ..still not over..I hided in that place, another Jamaican was there soon and I killed him too but with very low healt left..I decided to go out and pick some but when I was out, I saw 5 Jamaicans, all together comin at my turf, on bikes cars and on foot..that was scene witch scared me!! lol.gif I took cover between cars parked in front, killed few of them again and when I saw that I couldnt do muchmore , I hided back again behind walls, killed another one but then there were 3 of them against meall around..and TASOtheHERO was dead too....EPIC!!! Result: 12/0/4/3 or somethin cool.gifbiggrin.gif

 

I simply inlove.gif GTA !! biggrin.gif

Yes, indeed some good matches last night.

Sorry about the lack of TW TALES (they are currently paused btw colgate.gif )

 

Later in the night Capital showed up and we started to own randoms like old times.

Even a veteran like CapnRedChops showed up and joined us. icon14.gif

My son is 15 months now. He's a champ, but chews up a lot of time and energy, so I can't get to gaming at 6am anymore.

 

By the time I do get on, you guys are on the tail end of your action. confused.gif

Ive played few TW"s last night with mafi, later joined also dj and was like in ol" times..

 

..first few games were with full lobby, I had so much fun playin after so loong..and ended with 11/0/5 or somethin..no MW and no any other game can give me so much pleasure than GTA!! cookie.gificon14.gif

Actually few nights ago I played some matches with ol'cap. 2 vs 2.

Kemkel was there too.

Me and cap still rule when we team up. cool.gif

 

Anyway, I want to revive the topic a little bit and see who'd be interested in a TW night x week.

I'm suggesting Thursdays starting as early as 9.30pm UK time.

People could sign up (in the style of the LB) and we would play a classic LC TW tour: Alderney, Algonquin, Dukes and Bohan.

20 minutes matches... maybe some DTW in the mix...

 

Lately I also thought of a couple of new ways to play TW.

Very simple ones but that could add some pepper at the mode we already know and played a lot.

MID TURFS BATTLE TW

The home turfs are left unguarded and cannot be touched by the enemy.

The match is played only in the turfs that are yellow at the start.

The goal is to gain or defend only those turfs.

It should create some good action.

 

CASTLE SIEGE TW

The Home Team defends only the home turf (CASTLE).

Yellow turfs and Away Team home turf are ignored and not played in the match.

The Away team must gain the CASTLE turf defended by the Home Team.

Now, this need to be tested in order to define who wins the match cause obviously the normal score system would advantage the Away team once they gain and keep the CASTLE for a while. Even if the Home Team gains the CASTLE back they it will never be able to recover the score in case they're losing...

So either we define that the Away Team wins if it gains the CASTLE once (maybe in just a 10m match?) or we define a number of times the CASTLE has to be gained to award a win for the Away team (2, 3, 4 times?).

Other ways could be thiought... needs testing as I said.

 

Suggestions are welcome on the new modes and on the Thursdays TW nite smile.gif

Count me in too, I'm fed up of playing assisted aiming MW2.

mid turf mode sounds good to me, I expect a lots of face to face action

As soon as the castle is taken, a member of the defending team can take a neutral turf?

This would level out the scoring from the 'neutral turfs'.

 

Another way of playing it would be like a trimmed down version of your mid-turf wars idea. You could start the game 2v2, then we'd hopefully only have one mid turf, and then invite everyone in. The downside would be the random nature of the team allocation (is it random?).

 

Anyway, I'm down for Thursday nights. Will be good to get into DTW again.

Taso, i never left. Whenever i am on an is see my boys playing GTA i always ask if there is any TW action. If i get a yes, i go dirty. Riko was racing the other day. 5 seconds after he told me he was going to play TW i was right by his side.

 

The biggest problem is i play late in the states, which means it is like 3 am where you guys are.
