[PSN] TURF WARS

TALE FROM LAST NIGHT:

 

We were palying a 4 on 4 turf war in Algonquin, it was Alx, leroy, a random and me in one team. Literally owning Rob, an idle Kayla, and a brainless random in the opposing team (2 randoms left earlier).

 

After 9 minutes with a score about 3000 to 300 and owning all turfs with enough time to get in perfect defending spots, I invited everybody who was on my list to make it more even. Christopher_D was the only one who accepted the invite.

 

And thanks god he did, now here comes the most epic turf war moment in my history (might have been more epic ones, but you know my weakness when it comes to remembering things ):

 

I was at the midturf (the one with the many small alleys surrounding it), on the roof (a few people know which roof I could mean). Chris-D was coming around the block and I welcomed him with an "hey there" from above. He was clearly suprised to hear that and went on very carefully...

When he finally was near the turf, a random tried to take it and I shot that random. Chris of course saw that, but wasn't 100% sure where I was. I waited patiently and then when he finally showed his body a bit, I shot a few times. He saw on what roof I was then and started firing back.

After a few seconds of exchanging bullets without a real hit, and him swaping positions a lot to get out the line of fire, I changed the roof to shoot him from another angle... somehow he managed to escape the bullets everytime and I was jumping from roof to roof like spider man just to get in a perfect angle for a shot.

Then finally, I took his health down to a bit, but he was out of the line of fire again (but I could see exactly what he was doing). I decided to jump down the smallest roof to finish him off, I didn't excpect to bail on my way down, but I did, landing exactly 2 feet infront of him. I thought I was f*cked for sure, but after he hit me 2 times, he had to reload!!

I got back up on my feet by the time he was finished reloading, we both fired, we both died right next to the turf marker!!

 

To make a long story short, we were fighting for that turf for about 5 minutes, without dying once, but with a lot L1 dialogues... then we died both at the same time after this amazing battle!!

I was laughing my ass off so hard when it was over. Especially when I think of how strange it must have been from his view, to see a player jumping from roof to roof to get to the perfect spot and then firing a short burst before jumping to the next roof...

 

Maaaan, I love GTA for sh*t like this!!

And I found out that there's a DANG3R (very arrogant and rude on mic) clan or something that think that the rite way to play this mode is AA on and blips all

 

Sad...

 

But funny when they found out that I could swear back to them in their language... spanish.

Wow, Turf Wars is 1 year old already? Time has flown by.. I remember playing with you guys some.. beanmike, BowZa28, Erados, PanzIV.. I played with those the most. And Riko too. I maybe wasn't as good as you guys, but the memories were good.

 

I never thought you guys would still be playing this.. Sadly, GTA IV got boring for me after a few months, but it certainly was fun playing with you guys.

Yesterday's tw was a classic ol' fun Bohan battle. Favourite moment:

 

Riko rpg'ed my car from a rooftop near the middle turf, as I was driving by. I thought "Oh yeah?" and went back to get him. But as I got back someone else had already killed him. So I got the rpg myself- and went up on that same rooftop. Blasted a couple of people. Enjoyed the vantage point (first time I ever went on that roof ). Then I thought, "I bet Riko is coming back here. He loves the rooftops position".

 

So I turned my back to the turf and checked the rear, towards the bridge/railway- just as Riko pulls up his car. Parks, and starts to exit the vehicle. BOooooOOOmmmM! Sweet payback

 

But I also realized, that we've started to know eachothers way of playing well...... Maybe too well

ah that bit yes. right before nn and myself starting to throw grenades at eachother and rpging our own cars because the randoms sucked big time.

Hey guys, I just checked back at this topic (since a looong time)

 

Havent played with you guys in a f*cking long time! And yet im still on the veterans list

 

I have to get back into this once I get GTA back.

Before I forget about this tale (and before I post the scores of it ) I really need to share this "classic".

 

North Alderney, 3 turfs. We start with some randoms but they all leave, so me and TASO are stuck against noname, GTAking and stev

We didn't win but we fought, oh yes we fought.

Especially noname and king were always hunting us down. They even hunted me down with two choppers...lol

At one point we manage mid turf and gas station turf. TASO is holding the gas station and I land on the rooftop of mid turf and block it.

King and noname want me down, so at first they shoot a couple of rockets from the ground but I'm far from their shots... Then king goes on the roof top of the multistories parking on the other side of the road. He tries to get me but I'm hiding behind one of those small walls that are supposed to be roof exits... well I guess u know what I mean...

I can't move from where I am cause I'm low on health. King knows where I am and I see him going from side to side of on roof trying to find the right angle to shoot at me. I keep moving behind the small place staying in cover looking for a chance to shoot a rocket... I shoot one but I failed. I'm left with two rockets.

Then noname reaches king up there and starts shooting rockets at me, but he fails and the wall protects me.

Suddenly I leave the cover, crouch aim at Ben and BOOM is dead.

I'm back in cover.

Then again I come out for a second, crouch, aim and BOOM, King is dead. Game is finished and we lost but hell yeah I really felt like I lived up to the RPGenius name and fame.

It was funny cause I stayed up there almost 10 minutes...
