I leave my game disc in the PS3. But that happened to me one time, had some friends over and I had SOCOM FTB for PSP and I went to the bathroom, then I came back and after everybody left I checked and didn't find it anywhere, so I was like what the hell, and one of my friends that was over my house that night gave me his copy of the game, and no he wasn't the one who stole it I'll see what I can do. I might be able to at least start a game and invite everyone who is on and just let everyone play. I'm just usually busy in the evenings until about this time. So we've agreed on 1/2 1/2. Only problem is I'm severly broke, as is my flatmate! Besides, we've no idea who actually stole the copy. Chornos set up an xfire after I asked him to have some kind of text communication. Since Chornos is usually only available at 11 or 11:30PM Central Time on weekdays, I was wondering if I can be a second host for weekdays and weekends to host games at earlier times or whenever Chornos is busy/not available. I can do, Mon-Fri: 3:00 PM till around 10:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (New York) Might have to leave or go somewhere at certain times but I'm mostly free. Was an awesome game though, some great covering fire from you so that we could climb up, there were just too many, think I got about a third of the way up the ladder and down I went. Was riddled with bullets. Looking forward to some more, so leave a message when you get your new copy of IV. No mic as of yet...but it isn't too hard to understand what to do and co-operate without one. Managed so far... I like to gather up a good selection of weapons, some armor and then dig in, be it a building or a good alleyway. The car dealership? is a good place to hold off an assault of cops...forget it's name, the one with all the glass windows and the spiral staircase. The museums good as well... I'm not opposing Cottus' signal-language or anything, it's just easier, avoids misunderstandings, and you can adapt better to new situations or deviations. theAudiologist Posted May 24, 2008 Share Posted May 24, 2008 Yeah, a mic would be ideal for this mode. It's a little tricky trying to follow/remember all the signals. I generally just arm myself then follow the host to the location for a firefight. Especially difficult when you need to run off for health/ammo/armor and you can't tell anyone what you're doing, you just have to hope they realise this otherwise everyone starts following you around like your making an escape.. Just go to xfire.com and sign up then download the program. It's free and could be a good type of communications if you don't have a microphone and text is easier to understand then signals.
