b17ad_k
Ok, I did make an earlier post, but ive progressed since then, and Im not stuck here. I can't convert to Nat type 2. Im plugging my PS3 into a Siemens Speedstream 4100 via an ethernet cable. I've taken my PC out of the loop with this. I have - Set up a static IP adress for my PS3. I have entered these address manually on the PS3. I have opened the ports ; TCP HTTP / 80 192.168.254.50 TCP 443 192.168.254.50 TCP 5223 192.168.254.50 UDP 3478 - 3479 192.168.254.50 UDP 3658 192.168.254.50 Supposedly the correct ports. I've enabled uPnP. I've also set up my DMZ to my PS3 on it's Ip address - 192.168.254.50 DHCP is also enabled. Still, Nat type 3. I've then read various things saynig disable your Port forwards, leave DMZ open. Still type 3. Ive changed the level of the firewall from off/high with DMZ, still type 3. I've tried port forwards on, upnp off. Still type 3. How do i get this damn thing onto Nat2. I've watched many many tutorials, but none have worked. About 5 different videos on youtube (mainly saying the same things), and lots of written ones. Now, the weird things Usually, when you type in your IP address your router menu comes up? Or at least im sure it does. Mine doesnt. As you can see, my ip address is above. 192.168.254.50 for my PS3 But, to get my router up, I have to input http://192.168.254.254/ Any reason for this? Could this be something I'm doing wrong? And finally, I have a page on my router i dont understand. NAT/NAPT. This page. Do I need to do anything on here? Oh and btw, I can host games like everyone else I think. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/344504-nat-type-2/ Share on other sites
