There wont be new citys or states in DLC, DLC is givin 10 hours more gameplay... a city or even a state would give more than 10 hours...

That's the dumbest thing i've ever heard! GTA IV was said to have 30 or so hours of gameplay (missions) yet there is plenty more to do. OK so the DLC could have so many hours of gameplay but that could just be refering to MISSIONS. If a DLC comes with 3 missions and a new car it's still 20 minutes of gameplay even though you can drive that car for an hour...Until they compile a list of what the DLC is exactly we won't knoe for sure.

Nice work Basa. Interesting rumor/Rockstar Social Club easter egg. I think it's safe to say Xbox 360 owners will be excited for the DLC no matter what it ends up being.

On another note, I thought I'd let you guys know that this story/rumor has been picked up by G4's "X-Play" and will be airing in the Gaming Update for today's (Friday's) episode.

Depending on which ending you got, it would create a different honeymoon haha.

This is true...would make it hard to make a sequel when there are two endings. But I suppose they could do it.

If there's multiple endings in a game, when it comes to a sequel, 1 of the endings will become canon, and the other ending will be ignored.

lol "Air Sol"

Anyway, doesn't anyone else think it's strange how it says "San Andreas" rather than one of the cities? I mean, where is the plane supposed to land?!

Of course that leaves the possibility that are remaking San Andreas, the city, and it exists alongside the state of San Andreas or within the state, like New York City in New York ect.

A plane ticket to "San Andreas" makes no literal sense. Which airport is the plane going to? It would have to be to Los Santos, Las Venturas, or San Fierro.

Rockstar has already said redoing a world just to up-res it would be soul-crushing, so I don't think we're seeing San Andreas again until there's enough new to do with it that it wouldn't be soul-crushing.

GTA IV is a revamp of Liberty City, which is New York. Its more detailed.

San Andreas is based off of San Fransisco, they could just do as they did with this GTA IV and make it more detailed.

I very much doubt its going to be a DLC for the 360 though, the DLCs are supposed to just be new 'episodes' which will most likely be an extra character or two for the game, in which you can do missions and activities for/with. (But will not count towards 100%). It will never be a whole new environment, I think Microsoft would have had to pay more than $50mil for that - that would be pretty much asking for a whole new game...

Good point about the plane destination and departures though. Maybe it was just to make it more clear and they never thought of it in great detail.

Up-res'ing any game or scenery would be soul-crushing. Its basically just adding extra content and more polygons to the objects/environment to make them more detailed. Think I seen the polygon thing in the Artwork book you get with the special edition. Some really nice stuff in it smile.gif

The next game wont come out for like 4 years anyways. But hopefully the xbox DLC will be epic. biggrin.gif

Probably be longer than that lol. San Andreas was a lot bigger than Liberty City. Plus, they'll have to try make something to top this game.

Off-Topic: Whats the multiplayer like on the 360? Does it save your stats?

Just seeing your gamercard in your signature is making me want to get it for the 360 too so I can get all the achievements lol. Was just reading through them tounge.gif

The $50 mill was just a down payment - there's more moneyz to come in the form of royalties and... other monehs
