pariah87 1,268
That picture of Claude Speed looks like Niko in his outfit to me. You can't see the big pockets and the stance looks exactly like Niko.
brian. 231
I am investigating the statue of a man climbing a ladder near the intersection of Columbus Ave and Uranium street. You can read DR JEREMIAH JAMES on the base of it. Somehow its fascinates me... I am convinced the name means something and is some sort of secrets, but I don't know how. I'm not sure why I only decided to investigate this nearly four years after the game was released but here you are: Jeremiah James is a musician/actor from NY & member of a band called 'Teatro', who are/were signed with Sony BMG. Dan& Sam Houser used to work for Sony BMG, I'm guessing that's the common link. They are probably friends with this 'Jeremiah James' fella & added a little Easter egg for him. The statue of the man on top of the ladder must be in reference to the stage musical 'Carousel', in which this Jeremiah James played the role of Billy Bigelow. I've never seen the musical but a famous quote from it is, "Put Him up on a ladder, for all I care, only get Him out of that parlor!". Funny coincidence, because in-game, it is the name of the person who founded LC according to the TV, and that is a statue of him. Maybe they are inspired by that.

the_warbsta 160
Section: Real Life Easter Egg Name: GTA:SA and GTA:VC theme park Notes: in the theme park, go to the giant boat, then, as the background on the wall behind the giant boat, there will be a reference to GTA:VC, and if you travel up towards the cups and sauces like ride near the gate, look on the wall behind that, and you will see a clear reference to GTA:SA
RoadRunner71 2,940
I don't know either if has been mentioned yet nor if it's a "common" expression for english speakers, but I think there could be a reference to Guns N Roses; the guy often yells at you "Back off, Bitch!" when you try to hit him. Back off bitch was a song by G N' R released in their 1991 album Use Your Illusion I (originally was going to be included in their debut and succesful album Appetite for Destruction of 1987). Infinityfq 17
1. Manhunt Hippo Statues In the amusement Park in Broker there are blue/purple Hippo Statues, just like the ones from Manhunt. They also exist in GTA San Andreas. 1. Hidden Artwork On a wall in LC, you can see artwork from previous GTA's, these include: 8-Ball from GTA3, CJ from San Andreas, Misty From GTA3, The Helicopter from San Andreas, The Twins from Vice City. El Burro and Kenji, and a Yardie gang member (GTA III), and Mercedes Cortez from GTA Vice City are there too. Ray Machowski and a Triad member are on the backdrop too, albeit much smaller than the foreground characters.

RoadRunner71 2,940
I'm not sure if this has been already commented, I'm sure it is, but anyway, I think there's a reference in Lazlow's show to Rick Allen, the Deff Lepard drummer who lost his arm in a car accident and even so continued playing drums. Lazlow begins to talk about the 80's and says something like "back when 16 year olds could drink and listen to metal music, you got in a high speed accident and you were like "dude I've lost my right arm" and your friends said "dude who cares, you can drum". glenster 19
Phantom It resembles a Peterbilt 359 EXHD. http://gta.wikia.com/wiki/Phantom The name is probably a reference to the story song about a big rig truck driv- er--"Phantom 309" (Tommy Faile). A hitchhiker is given a ride by the truck driver then learns at a diner the truck driver died earlier swerving to miss a school bus. The song was covered by Red Sovine in 1967 and others including, with altered lyrics, Tom Waits on the 1975 live album "Nighthawks at the Diner.". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phantom_309 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nighthawks_at_the_Diner

Hmmm nice bike 4,726
I know this is probably gonna sound stupid, but could Gordon Sargeant's name be a reference to Gordon Ramsay and Mark Sargeant (the former sous chef and then head chef at one of Ramsay's restaurants in London)? I was just watching the documentary "Boiling Point" with both of them in it and they both worked together back then when the documentary was being made, and it sorta just clicked in my mind. Lupin_III 29
Every longitudinal street in Algonquin named after an element, gem or mineral—starting from south to north—from Amethyst Street to Xenotime Street is in alphabetical order. Lorimar is probably an alteration of the word larimar, which is a rare blue variety of the silicate mineral pectolite. You can look at the map here. TiaguiNho-_15 3
I hope this can help. I think this is a clear connection between GTA CW and GT IV. On the Exotic Export Missions you have to go on one ocasion to Huang´s first safehouse. There, the guy that drives the car you have to steal is a Huang look-a-like. It can appear with different clothes, the car can also change. I made a video of it on November:
Ray Carter 118
I think I found a new easter egg which doesn't seem to have been mentioned on the GTA Wikia or IMDB. Feel free to add it if you have an account there. I think the mission Trespass could be a reference to the 1992 movie of the same name. They take place in an abandoned building although the story is different. See the trailer below. Edited January 4, 2018 by Ray Carter
