I did a pick up mission for Roman, he sent me down to South Bohan and I couldn't help but to see a mural of somebody. It looked like rapper Big Pun and underneath it it said R.I.P and somebody's name. It is in South Bohan, somebody check it.

It's just a mural of a deceased "community leader", maybe a whacked gang leader? People were grasping at straws, trying to connect it to Big Pun. Manny has one in the community center, spelled out his demise already, painting his face up on the walls before he's anything.

 

Sweet sig/name.

If you go to any bowling alley and look at the pins you will notice they wear the R* logo.

 

Additionally I found this weird small floating box that changes colour when you zoom in with a sniper (must of been unnoticed by R* staff). I will give a location and screens 2morrow (got to go; busy day today).

There's a really obscure Prison Break reference in GTA IV. The second safehouse the Bellics acquire is on Joliet Street in Bohan. On Prison Break, Brad Bellick, the Correctional Officer's mother lives in Joliet.

Thats a bit of a stretch. Joliet is a prison in Illinois. If you look there are other streets named after prisons.

I looked through the list and it hasn't been listed.

If you go the sex shop you are sent to for Faustins intimidation mission, you can pick up some of the Dildos on the shelf by pressing LB and you can throw them at people.

I knew Joliet was in Illinois and had a sneaking feeling that there was a prison there, but the Bellic(k) thing intrigued me. More than likely a strange coincidence.

I'm sure this is already mentioned, but the tunnel that represents the Lincoln tunnel in NY is called the 'Booth tunnel' in Liberty City.

 

John Wilkes Booth was the guy who killed Abraham Lincoln.

On the top of a building in Alderney you can see the word "Ron" and a logo of a flame. I first thought it resembled to Enron, which was one of the world's leading energy companies. It is known for it's institutionalized, systematic, and creatively planned accounting fraud.

I was wandering through a subway tunnel last night and found a funny poster on the wall. It was a nice looking girl with some writing. What it said though was what made it interesting. The poster says "White Widow" and has some random pot leaf's around her face. Now if you have been in a cave for the last 20 years or you just don't know, White Widow is a pretty potent strain of marijuana. As a side note, Katt Williams talks about White Widow and a couple other strains in a radio skit. Anyway.... Here are the pix!

One of Rockstar's rivals has been parody in the world of Liberty City, Saints Row but instead they called it 'Squid Row- Budget Seafood'.

 

I don't buy this one. Squid Row is more obviously a verbal pun on the term 'skid row,' the meaning of which is Here

 

Given the meaning of that term, "budget seafood" deliciously reinforces the pun.

Found an easter egg if you look through Packie McReary's head you can see a box with a brain on it I call it the brain box. What you need to do is go to a tight spot like an alleyway and face the camera to his face and you will look through his head you will spot a box look closely and there's a brain on it look for yourself dudes

I have one. Someone was carrying a yellow bag, and I took my sniper and zoomed in and it said Binco on it. I was going to take a picture, but it sort of just disappeared before my eyes.

Iroquis mean Snake in another language and Snake was the name of a character in the move Escape From New York (New York = Liberty City), could also be a reference to MGS2 aswell. Solid Snake and how MGS2 takes places just off New York.

I find a lot around the apartment in Middle Park East the peds are holding them and walking around the Turismo Warehouse "Grotti". Check there and point a SMG at them or RPG I would choose RPG because they would run a mile and drop the bags if they don't RPG okay?

There is a hint towards GTA London. While nobody who doesn't know railroads won't catch it is is quite obvious to railroad fans.

 

Down in the Subway barn, storage shed, there are semaphores which are British signals. The US uses a different system then these. A member over at the Trainz forum truly believes this might means GTA IV: London.

 

I hope not since that will be the first time London would be done in 3D and the problem of that is Every signal person that plays it will think it is a block for block replication of London. That is why Rockstar never uses a real cities name.
