GTA IV online problems

I'm sure you have probably seen "The connection to one or more players has been lost" right before your about to play a game online, it usually happens when theres alot a people.

 

I was wondering if there was anything I could do to stop this from happening?

It has been doing it more and more lately & it's getting annoying.

 

I know it's not my connection because it doesn't sign me off the network it just takes me back to single player mode & this is the only game it does it with.

 

Any suggestions?

or is just the game & theres nothing i can do about it

Ya im having the exact same problems even after the patch............ i mean i connect to the servers just fine but when i go to join certain friends parties it wont let me in, it just keeps sayin game session is no longer aviable even though they just started it and he keeps inviting me! but when other friends invite me it lets me in rite away! this has been a pain in the rear, can someone please help me!

I have the exact same problem, but I'm trying to get it fixed now. Try running an internet connnection test from the cross media bar if you're on a PS3, or the network blade on the 360. I believe this is more likely to happen if you're running NAT 3 (on PS3), or the equivalent (Strict) on the 360. Maybe this is what's causing you're problems?

Yeah it does say NAT 3

how can I get it to NAT 2 anyone know?

 

Let me know if you get it fixed, this game is really fun online I just got the zombie outfit today.

If you go to youtube it shows you how to change it to nat 2
