Week 1 GTA4 prob(letter from Rockstar)

Its pretty obvious that some people are having problems with their games not their consules both Xbox360 and PS3. This so called "patch" they said will be made to fix the problems. When is the BIG Question...

 

I got an email from Rockstar and they say...

 

Thanks for the email. Sorry to hear about your problems with Grand Theft Auto IV. A very small percentage of consumers experiencing a game freeze on the PS3 version at the very beginning of the single player game may be doing so due to a hardware-related issue that applies to a specific batch of launch PS3 60GB units. We are working with Sony to find a solution for this issue as quickly as possible.

 

Freezes related to other PS3 units can usually be resolved by clearing your hard drive of all old game saves, although if that does not work we have provided another list of suggestions at www.rockstargames.com/support.

 

We are extremely sorry to hear about any of our fans experiencing problems, and want to assure everyone that we and our partners are working around the clock to resolve any issues. We want every single person’s experience of Grand Theft Auto IV to be outstanding. Any further support updates will be posted at www.rockstargames.com/support as soon as they are available.

So to those people who are having freezes, black block graphics that appear during game play or saying their game messed up their consule..

 

EMAIL THEM!!.... they claim their getting little of these issues.

They know what they're up against. If they don't fix the issue, the backlash will be too much for them to cope with. Give them time. Of course they'll fix it.

 

However, I think they should put something up on their website to let people know though.

this is there only mistake at the moment. Their support site is crap and not up-to-date.
