1craig4 Posted May 6, 2008 Share Posted May 6, 2008 If I have to sign out of PS network every time I want to play GTA IV, then whats the use of having it? If I get sick of playing single player in the middle of my game, that means I have to wait to shut the PS down, enable internet, then hope it loads, and if not, waste another 4 minutes to load back up hoping it will? I've had this happen to me almost every time I load up GTA with my connection enabled, so I have yet to play multiplayer, of course who wants to, from what I hear its stupid. It's pretty chaotic but lots of fun from what I've heard Well, I wouldn't know seeing as how I have to sign out of PSN in order to play this game. But thats not a PS3 issue, its a game issue. I'll say it again. They had to put too much into this game to make it accesible to the 360 which obviously has a better online gameplay. The PSN is still in its infancy, so the crossover has caused some problems. Not Playstations fault, Rockstars for trying to make the game for both consoles, which use different disks and different processors. Just log out of PSN (where u see ur friends to) dont disable ur connection... when logged of, load the game, no problem then, but we already know.... Then ingame go to ur cellphone, log into PSN by goin to Multiplayer menu. then its possible to play online anyway... works for me everytime... so cant see why it should not work for u guys to.. but let me hear if it works or npt.. This worked for me as i used their procedure and set it as well as used it for a whole day then the secod day i switched back to the original setting of the ps3 and gta4.
