PS3 GTA FREEZING

A few days after buying GTA i began to experience the freezing that is affecting many people. The game would show the loading creen with the text in the bottom right corner of the screen for ever. I temproarily fixed this by signing out of PSN. This made no issues until i tried to connect to multiplayer and signed into PSN then it immidiatly froze. However after trying to play on multiplayer yesterday i have been playing when signed into PSN without problems and not one drop in frame rate or freeze. The games initial load up works fine too.

 

Has this happened to anyne else?

I haven't had any problems either, I think it was more of a server problem .. too much congestion ..

 

Pissed me off though, because when it first froze, I figured it was corrupted data, so I deleted the saves, game file and the profile, but after a few hours it came back.. Then when I disconnected from PSN it worked great, been working great now for 2 days while connected to PSN (don't want to jinx it though) (crosses fingers, knocks on wood..)

Hmmm....I haven't played since Saturday, but I was having the exact same problem. Freezing while loading up the last saved mission. So I signed out of the PSN network, which solved it. But it would freeze again if I tried to go to online mode.

 

Hopefully Rockstar fixed the problem. I wish they wouldn't remain so f*cking tight lipped though. First off, they wouldn't give us any info on the game, now they won't give us any info on this problem. I mean, a simple "We're working on it" would suffice.

I had the same problem.

 

I just went and rented the game from Blockbuster and it worked fine, so I took back my "bad" copy.
