XBOX 360 Freezing! Where's the Patch?

I got my copy of GTA4 on launch day like so many other people. I make it 10-20 minutes into the game and either: 1) The video freezes and the audio keeps going or 2) It freezes during a load screen. I've tried:

 

1) Disconnecting the Hard drive

2) Clearing cashe memory

3) turning off autosave

4) Turning off vibrate on the controller

5) going from 1080 to 720 and 480

6) Disconnecting from the xbox live

 

Nothing works! I've got 40 or so other titles that all work perfectly, so I can't see how my hardware is to blame. This is unacceptable product from R*. I've heard alot of people blame hardware, but, why cant R* put out a game that works on EVERY XBOX! All the other games seem to work fine... where is the patch to correct this?

I am having the same exact problem and I just got my 360 back from Microsoft after the RROD. All other games work perfectly. I am so pissed, I was having sooo much fun then every other minute the game freezes for like 30 seconds then continues. It happens when im walking and driving.......WTF R* fix this shizzle so i can continue my game that i paid $60 for
