went_dont_9 Posted May 5, 2008 Share Posted May 5, 2008 I have been having severe pop up problems with GTA 4. I often drive into buildings which aren't there yet. Roads aren't being rendered let alone the texture of the road - leaving my car floating in mid air. Sometimes I am driving through a blue void, I like abstract graphics but come on guys! The game is basically broke. I can't believe Rockstar would release a game as broken as this. Also textures sometimes pop in like 30 second after the low res versions have appeared. Basically I want to love this game but it is unplayable. Perhaps I have a faulty disc I hope so. Please help. Is anyone else having these problems? Is it a 360 HD problem? DruidB Posted May 6, 2008 Share Posted May 6, 2008 ive only had minimal pop in... in fact the only pop in ive noticed is when entering the Booth Tunnel.. other than that i dont get any at all... even when at top speed in supercars... I've also had pop up with road textures once, that's about it. tormenta3001 Posted May 6, 2008 Share Posted May 6, 2008 Is it a 360 HD problem? It´s not a HD problem, since Xbox´s version doesnt use the HD. If it helps, along the 3 differents dvd readers out there for the xbox360, the benQ one has been reported with the most pop in.
