I already have GTA IV for the PS3, but now my brother is getting it. So if we saved our games on the same hard drive, will it cause any error?

as long as you just sign in on different accounts you should have no problem...

Blackadder.

If you're both using the same console, why get two copies?

To answer your question though, it probably would interfere with auto-save, but when saving at your house you could just pick another save slot. Not quite sure how the PS3 works regarding saavegames (Whether their tied to the profile or HDD), so I may be wrong

Just create another account for you or your brother on the main screen on the ps3,Then it will save to seperate game saves.

yeah, we're in a bit of an argument. Long story short, he wouldn't let me play it on his ps3

Thanks for the advice biggrin.gif

Why would he not let you play his PS3? He's your bro.. lol but yea I guess you should create 2 separate accounts like everyone else said.

Uhhh.....well...its kind of a grudge thing.

I know the situation all too well, Cipriani. So as to prevent you from tearing each other limb from limb, I think it's a wise idea that you both have your own copies of the game; my brother and I used to give one another blackened eyes over far more trivial matters -- a stick of gum, for instance.

Wait I'm confused, if you only have one PS3 how does having two copies help the situation? You can only play the game one at a time with one PS3 no?
