To Live and Die in Alderney

It's the mission where you get the heroin from Frankie, but the cops turn up. When you've been chased a bit, after the one guy dies and you grab his share of the cut, they tell you to shoot down a helicopter that's near you. This wouldn't be a problem since before the mission I had stocked up on RPGs, but the stupid chopper is right above me and I can't aim up there. There's another one that I did shoot down, but the second one stays above me, and the cops just keep on coming... Keeping them off my back AND somehow shooting down a helicopter that's not even within my firing range isn't really that easy.

 

Anyone have any hints? I just need to be able to get to the chopper. I don't need any hints on dealing with the cops and all that, I've got that under control.

You have to shoot down only one helicopter, then take the van.

Hehe The way I did this - I didnt bother to shoot down the helicopter. I got in the van and made a run for it and while driving I called Kiki and asked her to get the cops off me. 1 call cleared 3 stars It was just too easy

I had the same problem my second try and ended up just standing on my grenade, blowing me and my friends and the van and a few cops away.

 

The third time I got into the van, drove off. The chopper followed me and dropped into my range just as it did, letting me snipe the pilot.
