"Damn, must have been prank callers", they said, while I was lying on the ground in front of them bleeding and being kicked by 3 people. And, on the part of the mission where a certain building goes up in flames (when your first safehouse and Roman's cab depot gets destroyed), I called 911 and asked for the fire brigade. They pulled up right in front of the flaming windows, and got out. "FDLC REPORTING! Stay calm! Damn! The coast looks clear, no fire! Must have been those damn prank callers." I remember my Niko had accidentally run over some old guy so I got out and phoned an ambulance for the poor piece of pixels in pain, just to see the awesome AI. Turns out the paramedics stop across the street, look right at the man, walks back to the ambulance and then flips over an overpass somehow trying to leave the scene. LOLOL ... what a damn shame, i also think its a great feature, ONLY if it actualy worked. thats the same situation as mine, i crashed into another car and the guy flew out the window and was laying in pain. i called the ambulance and they just looked at him and speeded off, almost running him over. Won't help you until they get back in the car. And you can't even call NOOSE for those large shootouts. AMBULANCE: GTA3/VC had the best ambulance AI. SA and IV have the worst ever. In all the time I've owned SA, I've only seen the ambulance stop to help 1 guy once, but they killed 6 people getting to him, they also ignored the other 4 dead people. In GTA3/VC, you kill 2+ people and an ambulance will arrive. FIRE: 100% useless in IV. Because in this game, a fire doesn't last more than 30 seconds, if that. In fact, the AI for the 911 service is so bad, that I'm thinking it's ONLY purpose was to let you have their vehicles. Aside from fixing the obvious, they should add these options: LAW ENFORCEMENT: Police Car (pistols) Police Car (shotguns) NOOSE cruiser (MP5) NOOSE patriot (M4) NOOSE van (kevlar, M4) MEDICAL CARE: EMT (none) Medic (knife) Combat Medic (micro uzi) FIRE BRIGADE: 1 Truck 2 Trucks 3 Trucks How does this sound? They do pick up people not knowing they don't have insurance, it makes the hospitals lose money. But I will take it because we still make some f*cking medical advancements and I can schedule my arm surgery for next month if I want instead of next year. Get over yourselves. Clearly you want to be American but can't so you bash it. It is Okay. Canada is nice but it is too cold. Anyway back on topic. The paramedics are dicks, and make me very fustrated.
