40 Disappointments of GTAIV

40 of the most disappointing things about GTAIV. This DLC better be worth it.

 

 

1. Nothing to spend my hard-earned dollars on. What do I need $250,000 for?? I gave it to a tramp

 

2. Wow!! The Triangle looks amazing!! but I cant do anything. Interact with anything. All I can buy is a hotdog.

 

3. NO PLANES.

 

4. ATMs. What is the point. Could have sacrificed them for a plane. Lame.

 

5. No Safehouses to buy.

 

6. No businesses to buy.

 

7. Not a great selection of weapons.

 

8. No AmmuNation. How could they leave that out???

 

9. No decent minigames. Bowling, darts and pool? Too easy.

 

10. Look!! A funfair!!! No, wait. Nothing there. Not even a coconut shy.

 

11. Hey look, ive got a camera phone! But i cant save any pictures, let alone see what im taking a picture of!! Lame.

 

12. WOW! internet cafe! no, wait, virtualy all the sites are fake.

 

13. No customer customization. Forget Barbers, Tattoo parlours and Gyms. Ancient history.

 

14. All clothes shops are lame, and the clothes suck, unless you want Niko to look like a tax clerk/deranged rapist.

 

15. No cool new fighting styles to learn.

 

16 Hardly any accessible buildings.

 

17. No novelty vehicles. Forget go-karts, ride-on lawnmowers and street sweepers. I miss the good old days.

 

18. Radio stations suck. Boring, repetitive and forgettable. VC and SA cant be topped really.

 

19. Almost no predestrian interaction.

 

20. NO CHAINSAW!!!

 

21. Cant get drunk in free roam. Disappointing.

 

22. Car Wash. What is the point. Could have sacrificed them for a Hydra.

 

21. Niko cant change gear. Over-revvs in first every damn time. Highly annoying.

 

22. Ringtones suck. The lesbian one is funny, for about 5 minutes.

 

23. Missions are all the same. You follow somebody, then you kill them. Thats pretty much it.

 

24. No parachute. If i climb to the top of the tallest building, I sure as hell wanna jump off, glide down and land gracefully in

middle park to a standing ovation. We can only dream...

 

25. When I turn a corner in a car, I sure as hell wanna see where im going. Camera when driving is shockingly bad.

 

26. No sub-missions. Pizza boy? Courier? forget it.

 

27. I can pick stuff up!! I picked up a tourists camera once. I didnt want to throw it, but thats all rockstar allows. Lame.

 

28. No car customization.

 

29. No decent clubs in this city.

 

30. NO FLAMETHROWER!!!

 

31. Rampages are impossible. I kill someone, the cops are onto me like a fat man at a burger convention.

 

32. No katanas, iron knucks, samurai swords? i wanna cause some carnage, not touch someone up.

 

33. NO JETPACK. possibly the greatest GTA gadget has been lost in translation. I wanna explore damnit!

 

34. Niko cant ride a motorcycle to save his life. He falls off at 5mph. I fell off whilst reversing. He needs stablisers.

 

35. I wanna store some cool vehicles!! no, wait. there arent any cool vehicles, and i only have a poxy parking space.

 

36. If i take a taxi back to my safehouse, why does the driver insist on slamming into my super GT on arrival. Retard.

 

37. Why am i paying $10,000 in healthcare when I die? Actually, what the hell else am i gunna spend it on.

 

38. Cool! a go-kart track!! No go karts. NO FUN

 

39. This game is too easy to complete. I havent even looked for any cheats yet.

 

40. When youve done all the missions, there is nothing to do. apart from play online, which looks like they quickly set it up 5 days before the game was released.

 

Overall, they have taken the most important factor away from this game. Blowing the hell out of everything and being able to do what the hell you feel like. The FUN FACTOR is seriously lacking.

Well if you dont like it, shut up, go away and stop playing the game. I'm sure you're not going to affect the success the game is already having.

 

I'm sure there are thousands of things you can list that GTA4 doesn't have. Why not appreciate what IS in the game and think in the long term that Rockstar now have a lot more stuff to add to the NEXT game to make it even better.

 

I'm sure that was their intention since day 1. Tehy cant put everything in one game and expect the next game to be as good when there's nothing new to add.

If you dont like it DONT PLAY IT! I LOVE this game and I know TONS of other people who do as well. This game is a TOTALLY DIFFERENT experience than the one before it so stop comparing it so much. There are PLENTY of people who will still play it so I have NO idea why you would take your time ( which you OBVIOUSLY have to much of ) to write that out UNLESS you have NO LIFE AT ALL.

 

I DO see you are a person who like to waste POINTLESS hours of your life doing things like getting an IN GAME haircut or going to an IN GAME gym or Tattoo Parlour ( All of which ARE POINTLESS ) or writing a Pointless list, this isnt a Tamagotchi fool and I am DAMN glad that it isnt.

Yeah you can't save pics, very strange, because they told u can search in the police computer with photo's.

 

When you hack a police car and try to look for photo it says: No wireless device connected, so i think they took that out of the game.

I agree. Honestly this game was a let-down compared to San Andreas. SA was so much better. Better storyline, better missions. You could do anything. Hell even the cheats made the game very fun. GTA 4 doesn't have those cheats.

Simply, I don't agree with the author of the topic. Are you a 13 year old? Otherwise, I can't undersand why you bitch that much about IV. Seems like you can't admit great character and storyline, and gritty atmosphere, because you prefer messing around in a street sweeper. Oh dear. And abou car washes, the point of them is that first, cars actually get dirty (much more nicely and noticeably than in SA), and you can wash them. Also, you get blood splatters on your car, which you wash off there.

In SA the clothes were better. Weapons were better. Cheats were better. Surroundings were better (GTA 4- cold city the whole game, GTA SA- country, city, hell you go to liberty for a mission). The missions in gta 4 are boring. They're all the same.
