Crokey
a) You say DVD drive so I'm guessing at San Andreas, since Vice and III were CD b) You say this game is new, if by new you mean as in bought from the shop then take it back, it's a duff copy (see d) c) If by new, you mean your torrent client had at some point told you your download was complete, then it will be your DVD Burning Software which will be duff d) If other DVD's are having the same problem then it's your DVD Drive which is duff if not goto b) e) Did you explore the contents of the drive and if you did, did it have files there or nothing there, if there is files, then make sure you have all applicable updates (ie Windows Updates, Software Updates, Driver Updates etc) as this means Windows is incorrectly reporting data. If there are no files there then goto b)
Edmachine
a) You say DVD drive so I'm guessing at San Andreas, since Vice and III were CD... You're saying, that you can't put regular CDs in a DVD drive? I could put a CD in a DVD drive, and it would read it. I could put a DVD in a DVD drive, it would read it. Note: I said guess for a few reasons, first off he was very specific about it being a DVD drive, second, I'm going by a popularity contest here in that San Andreas is the most popular of GTA's on the PC. Also add to that, that there is only a mention of a disk not several, since San Andreas was 1xDVD and III and Vice were 2xCD's. I've got a 33.333~% chance of being correct, if not a little more since I mention the DVD release format
