wretchedfool Posted May 4, 2008 Share Posted May 4, 2008 off or on? ive heard plenty of people who exclaim to have it turned off. and for those who want it turned on will swiftly be shot down(verbally) and be labeled a "coward" or "noob" either way i prefer it off. it makes it an interesting shoot out when it comes down to it. auto aim is for the noobs. Cracked Neon Posted May 4, 2008 Share Posted May 4, 2008 I think of Auto Aim as a type of 'difficulty setting' for IV. Putting it on makes the game Easy/Medium, and turning it off makes it Medium/Hard. It's got nothing to do with being a 'noob', some people are new to GTA and the Auto Aim helps ease people into things. I'll admit the Auto Aim is pretty generous unlike previous GTA's, but I leave it on and will probably go back and replay the game with it off to make it harder.
