Southside Dukes Ballas
Ok while on the internet at [email protected] I went to PLO and there was the article Lazlow returns? Well in the article it proves that 4 is connected to the whole GTA canonon of games because it mentions that Lazlow was working for a station called Chatterbox at the turn of the milenium but due to humiliation among others he was fired. Now that proves GTA 4 is connected Also there is the Marvin Trill Area 53 site which I found while searching the web but I can't seem to find the site but it was last updated in 1999 and Marvin Trill who had the talk show Area 53 on WTCR is speaking about the Y2K scare and that he'll live underground for 10 years then make a new radio show. Well not only is he proving that SA also existed in GTA 4 cannon but he also says his location is somehwere in the Desert also where he broadcasted his show. Well those are the only 2 I've found so far and I'm only like 22.5 percent in but I'm guessing that the upcoming GTA games and DLC after 4 will just connect the past GTA games altogether. Oh and another Easter Egg I heard referencing past GTAs was on Massive B where one of the Djs shouted out the Brix which was an area in GTA 1. This all brings me to the conclusion that all the GTAs are connected in one way and maybe GTA 1 Liberty City and GTA 3 cannon Liberty City are all in Liberty State. This is an open discussion thread for talk about how the games connect and also what other Easter Eggs people have found.
Darkgamr
Lazlow also constantly rambles on about how he is returning to Liberty City
xer0er
Yeah yeah.. the radios are linked.. Lazlow talks on the radio about his old show in the 80's, as well as getting some callers who still put sh*t on him for his VRock station. He mentions how he has been fired from pretty much every radio station.. haha.
Tsuroki
Pretty much every location is linked in GTA. San Andreas (San Fierro, Los Santos and Las Venturas) are all referred to at some point in the game, as is Vice City. The only thing that changes between titles are the *details* of the region. Southside Dukes Ballas
Pretty much every location is linked in GTA. We all know that the same locations exist and this thread isn't about that. People were saying that this was a fresh start for GTA and past plotlines were gone as if they never existed but just those 2 finds which may be just a few of many prove that the GTA 3 cannon games are connected to GTA 4 and it's cannon of games. -IV-
i like the way they show areas from the previous games on the programs when watching tv in the apartment. Saw Vice city there, las venturas and even Bullworth academy from Bully! love the tv shows!!!!!!!
CrocodileDundee
Didn't Houser stated several times that this is a new cannon and has nothing to do with previous gta's?
Peter! At The Disco
Didn't Houser stated several times that this is a new cannon and has nothing to do with previous gta's? If it did then its pretty obv things didnt turn out that way IMO. Another minor connection, theres a commerical for Crow who was interviewed on the radio in LCS. Canoxa
Didn't Houser stated several times that this is a new cannon and has nothing to do with previous gta's? This discussion made sense before the game came out. It just has to stroke you funny how this is still being brought up after being confronted. -IV-
its true this is a brand new liberty city and thats the character and story have been reset. However, the cities from the previous games do exist in the universe.
.:Alex:.
Then that gets confusing. I mean, there would be TWO Francis International Airports! TWO Rotterdam Towers!! What if someone landed in the wrong Liberty City? What if Toni Cipriani for example found himself coming home to the new Liberty City instead of the old one? Or even worse, the really old blocky one from the original game. And then having three Liberty Cities in the same state would make the universe implode upon itself... Still, interesting how they mention the Brix though... Seeing Vice City and San Andreas on the TV is further proof that they will not set the next few GTA games in those locations. Magic_Al
It's pretty obvious Rockstar couldn't let go of the world they created. There's only one Liberty City and you just have to ignore the inconsistencies.
