without using explosives/combustables, is there any easy way to get a car to explode?

 

it seems that a LOT of bullets to the engine block causes a fire eventually, and crashing a car a bunch of times can also cause a fire - although i've found it more likely to break down before it catches fire.

 

is there any sweet spot to aim for on a car to trigger an explosion?

 

i'd also be interested to hear anyone's theory on the 'randomness' with car explosions. sometimes it only takes a minimal amount of damage before a car catches fire (on a few occasions i've been able to light up civilian vehicles by reversing into the front of them one or two times)
