Titancow Posted May 4, 2008 Share Posted May 4, 2008 Hey people, I've downloaded a couple of mods for GTAVC but you need "vclimitadjuster.exe" for them to work. I've looked in my VC root directory where it's supposed to be, and I can't find the file, invisible or otherwise. If someone who DOES have this file could upload it onto rapidshare or fileden that'd be great. Alternatively you could e-mail it to me at [email protected] but the first idea would be better because it could help out people with the same problem. The VC Limit Adjuster is not illegal to send for the simple reason that it's not copyrighted by any gaming company, R* or otherwise. It is not released with the game. What you are saying is, "GTAF does not allow file sharing of any kind." By inference, it does not allow the posting of any modifications or tools that may change the game. Use the grey blob you were issued at birth before pushing the post button. It's a MOD TOOL made by a staff member of this site. It's not a file from the game. Yeah that kind of file sharing is fine, but making a topic for it asking for files isn't allowed. The way I interpreted the first post was that the TS was missing a file form his game becasue he clearly states "I've looked in my VC root directory where it's supposed to be, and I can't find the file" Mabee there was somekind of missunderstanding but thats the way I took it. That he was asking for game files. Seriously, sometimes I wonder if you're really human or if you're just a bot. I wonder the same about you. But reading the above-- this request is fine-- it appears to be a Modding Tool-- this is allowed. However in the future you should ask this in the modding section as they would know the difference-- I obviously don't... Cracked game files for distribution or discussing how to crack the game for distribution is illegal and against forum rules-- as well as discussion about or linking to illegal file downloads-- (songs/movies/etc).... Keep the modding talk in the modding section please...
