fafnis
i have searched the forums and cannot find anything about this. i thought the biggest new thing about this new gta was that there were no load screens. "after the initial load screen you can play the game from start to end without a single load screen". with the little bit of the game i have played yet i have already hit a whole bunch. Granted they arnt the worst, longest load screens ever, but still. they made a big deal out of it that there wasent going to be any. what happened? It was lies by the media or somewhere else that started the rumour. Rockstar were quick to deny it, and mention the truth about load screens. fafnis
the ones before the missions. im not really complaining. the game kicks ass. and with as huge as the game is, im not surprised. im just wondering because every one was making such a big deal out of the no load screens thing. but that makes sense, there were a lot of rumors going around, i just never saw anything about R* denying it. .Up&Coming.
Yeah, I heard before missions there wouldn't be load screens and everything. I'm fine with it, though. The only thing that bugs me is when my game freezes when I'm loading up the game. Apparently, a fix is to turn off the Internet, and there's no freezing whatsoever..I'm not following that since I love multiplayer.
Codyp
haha.. It is true you can play the game with no loading screens all the way through. As long as you don't die or get arrested you will see no "loading" text in the bottom right hand corner. As for the short load before a mission, its kind of a cheat but how else would you know the name of the mission? So technically you can play the game all the way through with no loading screens. True. That's probably how they slipped it in there because it IS possible. It was possible in SA, too, if you didn't go in any buildings I guess.
