every time I go for this acheivement i can only get 8 cars in a pile before magically I get stars for gta when no-ones around, when the circle pops up thewre are no cops in it.WTF? is it just to make this really hard on me or what?

go to a motorbike shop in the second island i think. theres 8 motorbikes there just get 2 cars and put em all together and throw grenades into the shop.. id use the the cars to push the bikes together because if you get on them in the shop you get a wanted level.

magically get stars you just blew up 8 f*cking cars if you dont get stars for that then there really is no point in having a wanted system

The parking lot at the correctional facility is always full of closely parked cars (usually 15 or 20) which can easily be pushed together and grenaded/rocketed (note: if you take a taxi directly there the cars might not spawn until you run down the road for a bit and come back)
