TheDude5000
R* said that even though the map was smaller than SA, all the interiors and "verticality" would make up for it. There's barely any interiors. The usual places like the restaurants have interiors. But there's a sh*tload of real cool buildings that you can't enter. All you can do is look at them. Very disappointing, especially in Algonquin. TheDude5000
Theres plenty of interiors you just gotta lock for them. That's what I'm hoping, that I just haven't looked good enough. I mean for example I drove completely around central park and only one of the buildings surrounding it is enterable. It's a hotel lobby called the Majestic. But you can't actually do anything in there...they could have at least let you buy a f*cking room. Sheesh.

craze08
I was hoping that we could go to the top of the Statue Of Happiness, and the Empire State building. I really wanted to jump of the top of them to test out the new physics. There is a door that takes you straight to the roof on Empire State Building and I did manage to jump from it. But not as many interiors as I expected. Weren't we supposed to be able to enter all buildings?

I really am disappointed...There's only a few more interiors than in SA, and that game had minimal. I remember the missions with Vlad in the beginning, and you can't even enter his bar outside of the missions (unless you go drinking). I hate when you have a mission somewhere and you can't even go back in the place.

TheDude5000
There's no markers in front of the elevators. So no, I don't think you can get up there without a heli. Supremely disappointed, R*.
mike752
I was expecting about 20%-30% of interiors to be accessible at the least. I don't know, maybe we're asking for too much. But I thought the whole point was to make it smaller than San Andreas but with more interiors and detail. I mean, detail on the outside of the building is cool for a little while, but going inside was one of the main things I was looking forward to. Xterminata
Sometimes I wonder how True Crime: NY did it? And not GTA.... I never liked True Crime... I thought it was a big fat ripoff of GTA... though it was fun to be a cop... but now I think otherwise due to the fact that the New York in True Crime had more interiors! Yes, you can get to the top through an elevator - in a mission you have to do this anyway - you go up to the button next to the eleavtor and press LB/L1

It'd be impossible to make half the buildings enterable let alone every single one, they ran out of space on the 360 to put more into the game as it is.
