Sakari
It's great that this new installation in the GTA series allows you to blind fire and take cover etc but I must say that this feature is NOT intuitive at all. In fact it's highly frustrating to NOT being able to aim and fire where and when you want to. And yes I have auto aim off. It's just not intuitive. Does anyone have the same problem? Let's hope R* rectifies this.
tarquin biscuitbarrel
it takes a while to get used to. the whole game has been balanced around the new system INCLUDING auto-aim. - if you're auto-aim is not going where you want it, it only takes a second to release the trigger and half-press to get manual - hover over the guy you wanna shoot at - then fully pull the trigger and you should lock onto the guy you want. - it's not too easy because the shoot-em-up missions have a LOT of enemies - manual aim and blind fire is mainly designed for shooting non-targettable objects like car tyres or propane canisters etc. - with auto-aim you can fine tune the shot hit specific body parts, or snap in a direction to get a new target. imo the aiming works better than in gears of war or rainbow six vegas... the cover system doesn't always work how you'd like but it's more interactive than gears of war at least. the auto-aim is perfect for a console shooter game, because imo ALL of these games have serious fiddle factor with aiming due to the controller versus a mouse (and the games are designed for controller so in the end it makes the game ezmode with a mouse or unrealistic fiddle with controller). put simply, i disagree.
