It'll take some decent hardware to get it running well on the PC I imagine.

And what makes you think that?!

PS3/360's hardware arnt that good. Most PC's have better than what consoles have.

Yeah, something like that. I was lucky when SA came out because it was a surprise, I didn't even knew that the game will be released on PC. Now it's something else, I have seen some gameplay vids, I know some spoilers. The bad thing is that by then most of the people will be bored by it.

Bust you're missing the fact that next-gen consoles are as powerful as PCs, if not more powerful than most PCs - and PCs are running many other resources.

Consoles are built for games.

Otherwise, it is personal opinion and not fact.

Yeah if you have a top of the line computer with a high end grafix card with over a 1gb of ram.. Your games are going to run smoother than any console..

Put your computer next to my car and we'll see which runs/looks better.

Graphics don't fuss me. PS3/360 aren't ping-pong graphics - they are high up there.

It's the other factors that make me prefer consoles over PCs.

One of the biggest factors is the controller and the ease of just buying a game and putting it in the console and playing.

Then, take disc out - put in another disc - play another game.

Yeah, you're PC is fancy and you enjoy it. I enjoy my consoles, and that is what I spend my money on.

Neither of us are wrong, you know that, right?

Yeah that's your opinion. PC have already surpassed the "next-gen" consoles.

You don't even need to say anything for people to see that you're a PC fanboy.

Dedicated PC topic.

GTA IV has mediocre 2007-era graphics and will probably require a decent relatively new PC, but nothing major. If they follow the original cadence it will probably be out for PC around 6 months after the console version.

Also, 'next gen' (been 'current gen' for years now, stop using the buzz words already) consoles are not comparable to any recent PC whatsoever, and cannot hold a candle to a similarly priced PC you buy today. That's the boon with a format that evolves rather than being replaced entirely every five years.
