Undecided Posted May 5, 2008 Share Posted May 5, 2008 I'm on the first island still (taking my time) and was running from police into the airport and found a single heli on the pad. (There was also one or two following my police chase.) They killed me as I was spinning up the rotors though! After being revived, I went straight back but no helicopter. Makes me think that either it's a timed or random event, or else the copters are spawned during a police chase, at least early in the game. Hmmmm.... Guess I better go back to visiting it regularly. I'm still in Algonquin or whatever it's called and i can pick up Heli's from the Helitour place.. If i fly over the 3r island i still get the wanted level. I think you need to do the sub mission(like darts, pool, bowling etc) where Brucie calls you and asks you to take a spin in his heli with 2 girls to show them the sights. Far as i can tell it's random as i just got one asking me to take a spin in his power boat but i was in a mission at the time... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Trilic Posted May 5, 2008 Share Posted May 5, 2008 About the Combat Copter, I was on the mission: where you have to fly the helicopter with Jacob and as I was passing the LCPD station just to the NW of the Helitours place, I saw a combat Heli on top of the roof. But I was on the mission, and couldnt stop to get it. Then After the mission I went back, and it was gone. I have checked probably 10 more times, and it has never returned...But, I have not checked while on a mission again. I will have to try this out later. I haven't unlocked it yet and I've been able to steal the heli-tours chopper (and i also went on a heli-tour with Brucie). I think you have to be on Algonquin though.
