Double_Deagle
This mission shows exactly how stupid the savegame design in GTA (all of the parts) is: if the game saved directly after parking the truck outside the warehouse, this could be a fun mission, one could start it over and oer again, developing a good tactic to manage it. Instead, the game saves ten minutes before, punishing the player extremely for his faults making him do all the stupid driving over and over again before it allows him to retry the mission. This is not fun, it is frustrating. And I am not a massochist, and why should a game people paid money for be allowed to punish them in such an extreme way? Sorry, this was the last GTA I purchased, because I want to have FUN with the game, not frustration. And this mission, among some others, is extremely frustrating to me. Not because it is difficult (it generally is easy, except for some missions), but because it is simply stupid in some aspects (like savegame handling). This post shows exactly how bad players blame publishers for how they are losers in story mode. I beat the storyline three times so far and I NEVER had to restart this mission even once. Practice a bit of shooting, learn the cover system and fukkin shoot every prick gettin in your way. Thats everything. Missions in GTA IV are easier than every other GTA game so far. Dont know if - and if - how some of you guys beat Vice City. The missions in there were ten times harder, you didnt have a cover system and the auto aim wasnt half as good as in GTA IV. Get your head straight, play hard!

onlainari
Odd I've finished this mission four times and failed three times, and Phil never died on me. I do run straight into the warehouse though.
Hydro_PT
Has anyone done this mission with autoaiming turned off? I ask because i'm gonna start for the 4th time the game again and i'm thinking about turning off the autoaiming, someone told me the game is harder like that and i'm willing to try to see how it works out. I played the entire game without using auto-aim. That sucks, tbh. I mean, the game pointing out for the enemies? Where's the fun of finding them for yourself and shooting for yourself? I hate when online people choose auto-aim, specially on GTA Race. That's makes the killings too easy and frequent. which is annoying. It's way better Btw, I beat this mission at the thirt attempt. The part that frustrates me more is t that you need to drive Phill and then the truck and only then you reach the destination. If you lose, you gotta do all the way again. -.-' Why don't we have "trip skip" just like SA? You press a button and there you go. I've only seen that in the last mission, where you kill... well you know who you can kill in the end and where the shooting takes place. If you lose, you'll start right on the cut-scene before the shooting, you don't need to drive all the way to there following the guys. It should be that way the entire game...
