Minazki
The topic pretty much tells it. So the problem is that i'm at 35% in gta and when i start playing after 10 minutes it tells me that disc is unreadable Well i look at my disc and there's no scratches or any other sh*t in it but it always does that after 10mins of playing. Well it tried all my other 4 games (The orange box, skate., rainbow six vegas and halo3) and they all work fine when i played every of them for hour. So i've seen many solutions for ps3 version, but i need one for xbox. The last solution i would like to do is returning game to the shop, because the shop is in other town and there's some distance and i'm not so sure would they even change my game to a new one. And please forgive my english because it's not my motherlanguage.
Minazki
Up. So i cleared my catche and it didn't help. Actually it said that disc unreadable even faster that time. Still looking for solution.
mcmchugh
There's a few of us having this problem from the looks of things, and no official answer. I've email Rstar, but haven't had a reply. Think there is nothing to do but wait for another copy - I've got to wait two weeks now until the people I ordered it from get more stock in, which is very annoying. It's certainly not an isolated incident - I think that they must have been a dodgy batch of disks somewhere along the line.
BigBalls
Take a close look at your disc. Breath on it. Do you see what looks to be an oily coating on it? If so wipe that off. The same thing was happening to me, and after clearing the cache and wiping (the oil?) off the disc I have not seen an error in about 18 hours of play XD
