Lex Icon Posted May 4, 2008 Share Posted May 4, 2008 (edited) (apparent) problems with gta:iv, 1.prostitution 2.violence in many forms often focusing on certain groups eg caucasions or people with funny hats, (GANGS), 3.theft 4.ive also heard it rots the brain and is a way to make you lose intelligence 5.the ability to get drunk, and the ability to drive drunk 6.murder and many others, feel free to add more, ok so i got to think about this whilst reading another article that bashes gta:iv, mostly from conservative christians so i thought id just write a quick comparison with the bible. 1. prostituition, well if jesus befriended prostitutes why can't i, (mary magdeline) 2. "God", OFTEN promotes hatred and violence towardss others in his book, for instance, just a few examples, a man shall not lie with another man if he does so he shall be killed, children shall not back talk their parents if they do they shall be killed, and the whole promoting slavery and asking people to test their worship by f*ckin up their son. 3. yer some where in this "good" book it says do not steal, but in some cases it is ok to steal, eg steal bread to feed family, and seeing as though this is a game and not actual stealing and the fact that you dont have to steal but you have a choice i dont see the problem. 4. promotes unintelligence, yes believeing the earth was created by a "thing" 6000 years ago and 4400 years ago their was a massive flood, and fossils are really satans work to make u question god, and a belief in a cosmic jewish zombie who is his own father is a very intelligent thing to believe. 5. again the "ability" to get drunk and drive, no where are u forced to , and when you do, driving isnt suggested but it is suggested getting a taxi, but if you CHOOSE to drive it is extremly difficult and their are consequences, eg police chase. and what is it that jesus drunk on the last supper and that you drink every sunday and that he turned 8 barrels of water into, thats right alcohol 6.AGAIN the bible has alot of murder and if you put the death toll of all the world wars together it still isnt the same amount of deaths that reaches how many died under the tyrannous cult of christianity. and another thing what came first , the prostitution, theft, alcohol and violence, or a video game, or the internet, or a tv for that matter, SOME MIGHT SAY YOU'VE COMPLETELY MISSUNDERSTOOD THE BIBLE/CHRISTIANITY, WELL WHATS TO SAY YOU HAVENT MISSUNDERSTOOD GTA:IV, thank you GTA for LIFE Edited May 4, 2008 by Lex Icon Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The bible sure says that all that is bad, in real life, gaming is not bad, as long as you don't go around slaying people in reality. And I'm not the only christian who play the game. So you do believe that a "thing" created the earth??? My problem is, what created the "thing" that created the "thing" and why the heck did the "thing" make the universe so big and why cant we find other humans created by the "thing" and be all friendly with them so that we can travel to their planet and mess up their sh*t??
