It seems as though every time i die the bill is more and more. I used to lose 100, then 500, now its like 2000 dollars! Can someone explain to me how this works so I sont lose soo much money just by dying?

I always prefer dying over being busted, personally. I figure the medical bill balances out the money I save from not having to repurchase all of my weapons and ammunition. The only additional cost, of course, is the $500 purchase for armor.

You can get armor for 300 from Little Jacob.

 

Or I know one spot to get free armor. On the island with the second safehouse (I forget what its called. It is on the northwest side. Or just go straight north from elizabetha, and then you will see on your left while you are driving, some fence. Crash through the fence. Then get out, run to the edge and look down. You should see a dock. Go all the way down to the dock, and there is armor right there.
