So I killed X and wanted to know what Dwayne is good for? whats he do when he becomes a good friend, and while we're on the subject how about Jacob and Kate too?

He doesn't do anything, neither of them do. But you get a mansion when you kill playboyx and you get 25,000 when you kill dwayne. But you eventually do a bank mission and get 250,000 so there is no point getting that 25,000

If you befriend Dwayne, you can call him for two of his homies to back you up. They are armed with Uzi's and are quite useful, they are prolly equal to swat team members, nice have doing any missions with mass killing, but leave after 2-5 hours depending on if you are in combat, if you are in the middle of fighting, they won't leave, but if you're not, Niko will dismiss them.

 

I called them in during The White Storm mission to retrieve the drugs for Elizabeta, I think I woulda died without em, I seen I was easily out-numbered, called back up, we went in, blown the sh*t up, an on our way out blew it up even more

Only negative is Dwayne is hard to keep as a friend, as he needs alot of attention until you're good friends. I think I had to give him attention 2-4 times a day, then after a while, he stopped being emotional and calling me to tell me he is lonely and started livin.

So most here agree that keeping Dwayne alive is better than keeping Player X alive right? I'm not at that part but it got spoiled for me so I might as well choose the better path.
