Truth, but I find that the submachine gun totally rules both the AK and the M4 when using duck-and-cover techniques. Less range but so much more accurate. The only real advantage I think the SMG has is that it is quixker when you pop out of hiding for a few shots. You can get in more shots this way as opposed to the M4. You could be executing someone with it and there's a chance of it missing. But what about grenades? I think they're pretty much necessary for any major firefight if you know how to aim them. It makes shootouts easier with headshots or one hit kills. Unless i have no cover i just use a shotgun to take people out fast and use a Mac 10 or something to kill people with just mindless shooting. I meant the careful aim one-shot headshot. Also, fast shootouts where people are ducking often make the pistol obsolete, you can do much more with an M4 or MP5.
