davoelol
So, let me start. I've recently posted a topic entitled 'Perfect Little Touches' generally outlining the sheer, utter detail put into creating Liberty City (hands down to R*). Thank you for all your replies. In this thread I'll have a look at the great, original narrative put into Grand Theft Auto IV. Rockstar has put a lot of work into the beauty, personality and life of the environment. They have also, once again, created a perfect, stereotypical (in some ways) story. A complete classic. From humble beginnings, the story unfolds into a original Scarface revenge story, with violence, humour, sex and drugs generating a crime based narrative. Its not just the plot that makes this an A grade title but also the characters that live (virtually) through the series of events, twists and hard decisions, you, as the likeable, Russian protagonist have to make and the emotions they display. With the typical corrupt cop, the rich mafia boss, the clever, hated traitor and warm, caring friend (with many, many more) all chasing a dream in Liberty City. This truly is a movie like experience. I place to you the question, What in the story have you found to be absolutely classic?
DogOfHavoc
I really don't wanna sound like a d1ck/troll. But Niko is Serbian no Russian. I know someone is gonna flame you for it, so this is just a heads up.. On a lighter note I agree about the story, several of the characters are my favorites of all movies/video games. Brucie is grade A comedy.

Copilot
Yeah niko is serbian, he hates the russians and they are hated in the story line. Also just beat the game, 30 hours, it was pretty damn fun.
