These Cops Have Good "Hunches"

I REALLY like the new cop wanted system and the line of sight rules. However, I have been doing some experimenting with one-star wanted levels. I go and hide far from where I was last seen but yet stay in the circle just on the edge.

 

I notice that the cops, who are suppost to be looking for me, always have an uncanny ability to "gravitate" twords my hiding spot on the edge of the wanted circle. Me thinks that maybe the game cheats a little. I dont really mind though.....maybe I can imagine that the cops are just getting leads from civilians who saw me running. "He went that way!!!"
